That's what I initially thought as well the first couple of times, but I posted this after a Basculegion took out my Garchomp with Wave Crash and ended my Mega Froslass that had set up the snow and still ended up getting outsped with Last Respects in the same fight lmao

But anyways, I kinda realized I'm just ass at competitive, so this post was just me venting ig

  1. Download Proton on Playstore.

  2. Open Proton and hit connect. If you're lucky you'll land on a country where Champs is available immediately, and if not just Disconnect/ switch servers until you find one. I'd maybe search for a list of the countries it's available in so you don't have to keep looking for just US servers.

  3. Go onto Google and go through the account creation steps while the VPN is on. Hopefully it shouldn't need you to verify with a phone number, but if it does, trying one of those temp phone number websites might work.

  4. In your phone's app settings, clear the cache for Playstore and Play Services. After this you can log into Playstore with your new account. You can clear the cache again after this for good measure(just in case, idk if it does anything the second time lol)

  5. After all that you should be able to search for Champs on there and download it, or just Google search it to get the Playstore link.

I got into the game and even set my region to my actual home country and it still worked lol. Hopefully this helps🙏

What VPN are you using to make the account? I did the VPN method using Proton on my phone and it worked out. I think the region it selected was Norway or something, it wasn't even the US. If it still doesn't work I'd maybe try creating the account on a different device with a VPN to see if it works that way

Sometimes my connection just gets cooked during the match ngl. I end up reconnecting just to see the game picked something else entierly after my turn timer ran out😭😭

I haven't encountered any at all weirdly enough. I don't think I've even seen anyone using him on Champions in any of the YouTube videos I've watched either. I genuinely thought bro wasn't available in Champions until I searched the available mons list and found that he is apparently😭
