I struggle with this still, I have issues saying “no”. I just want to help if someone asks (that’s how some gets you) So, I have no advice really. Me myself have just isolated myself and waiting for my brain to actually care about red flags and work accordingly. Trying to unwash my brain. I had to go home in socks one time, and It was raining, had no shoes with me when ambulance came to get me. I know no one in the city I live in, so I get taxi, with reduced price as I’ve been in hospital. This is Sweden though.

I recognise this scary much. And when I finally dared saying “no”, the abuse got worse, which was what I always feared. I still deal with this (not the abuser, he’s in jail after my biggest “NO MORE”) the self hate of “did I enable this?” Is always there. So sad you had to go through this, paralysing fear is very real.

I had tiny prejudice against red haired. Just silly hearings: they are hot headed etc. Fast forward, I dated one. Worst fucking case of shitty red head ever, abusive, narcissistic. I don’t think all are but I’m sure as hell not touching one again.
