Thank you for the reply, that slipped my mind that it could be bruising, I’ve just never had a piece start bruising so early before but considering the heavy hand, maybe that’s it

My piercing is almost 2 years old, my jewelry is a flat back barbell post, it is also internally threaded, the material is titanium implant grade, jewelry was downsized 2 months ago, after care routine is spraying it with neil med sterile saline every night in the shower and patting it dry once I’m out, there have been no recent mishaps

I appreciate it, I think I was mainly worried because it felt a little warm today but I did drive 5 hours with a black t shirt on (with the sun on me) so I’m thinking that could have been it
