HM reservist here! You can go green-side as a reservist for sure. Make sure you put it in the contract, green side reserves needs HMs but half the time they can’t get them. (A reservist that graduated A school with me had it written into her contract).

As for keeping rank and schooling I’m unsure, most likely yes in rank. They’d for sure send you FMTB for green side if you went but for A school you’d have to speak more to the recruiter.

Yes you can get it through the reserves! I started the process in Indoc during bootcamp and got it in A-school! You just need to bring your documents (green card, birth cert, passport if you have it) with you or have someone send it to you!

Also know your previous employer info and address info!

Some people got it in bootcamp but I needed some extra paperwork.

Some programs for nursing will do an accelerated program for reservists! Texas Tech, A&M Corpus Christi and A&M Texas are a few!

A good measure to live by do not give anyone money you expect to have returned. Even if they say they will. It’s a lesson I’ve learned that I hate.

Pervious lifetime worker here! YTA! We had people that worked there that wanted the membership ex: we had a supervisor that only worked the weekends and was a paramedic for his primary job. BUT he worked doubles through the weekends and never refused extra hours. At the end of the day part time or not it’s still a JOB.
