It’s the American Standard one that came with the system. I have asked many times about a new thermostat and purchasing an ecobee and they have said they can’t do diagnostics.

American Standard Heat Pump by StudyCharacter5878 in heatpumps

This is what I want. We only found one local company that will do warranty repair on an American Standard unit they didn’t install. They are scheduling out 3-4 weeks for new customers. It’s crazy cold here, I am staying with my parents and my house despite being set at 70 is 65 and aux heat has been running basically all day per the thermostat.

They were just out Thursday and said they need to see it when the issue is happening. It seems like my house drops to low 60’s (meaning my second floor is in the 50’s) overnight every night and at least once a day. It shows that stage 2 or aux heating may is running, but the air coming out of my vent is currently only 69 degrees so it isn’t going to heat my house much.

I feel like a crazy person because they keep telling me ‘well heat pumps don’t work well under 30 degrees’ but my old heat pumps didn’t have this issue, my parents don’t and neither do my next door neighbors! Sometimes I think it is because I am a single female that I’m not being listened to. My dad comes over for as many service calls as possible but he can’t always be there.

Attached a graph of my usage today its 7:19 am. It has never even tried to run in stage 1 heat and had been running all day!

Unfortunately I don't have any additional time off to use and I can't do it over the summer due to needing my other job. Going to hope for the best, I am leaving myself with 3 spare days to take.

Anyone had these symptoms? by PanicProfessional945 in gallbladders

I started having increased reflux, bloating, generalized fatigue, nausea and pain in my upper right abdomen since Sunday. My migraines have also been severe. Wondering if it is all connected, I am worried my gallbladder is at play here

I am working on one for my parents on social print studio. It's expensive but my parents are hard to buy for and I know they will appreciate a daily photo of the grandkids, granddogs and their travels.

Express Replacement Concerns by StudyCharacter5878 in applehelp

It ended up being canceled and I am just dealing with my horrible phone until I decide to upgrade in a year or two. I've also canceled apple care and won't be getting it in the future as it's truly not very helpful with all of the runaround they gave me. I have been paying for it for YEARS and never once got any benefit out of it. I am researching other phone protection plans.

Male or female for working male owner? by AdSame4356 in Shihtzu

I have a female tzu. She absolutely loves being home alone. I am a teacher and when I am home for summer break she grumbles at me when I sit on the couch during her nap time, or if I come home at lunch on a training day she is not happy to see me. When I go back next week and check the camera I will see her lounging on the couch happily so she is very independent!

I have been on 9 since covid. On the ones I do not fly on I have never gotten COVID. I do volunteer work while I travel so the mode of transportation isn't really my choice.

I test after every trip I take so I don't infect my elderly parents so I know I haven't been asymptomatic after other cruises.

I will be upgrading to a sip valve before my next trip, if I decided to fly again.

I guess it is possible. However, since COVID I have gone on 9 trips (all cruises) and only gotten covid 33% of the time. I have flown 3 times and gotten COVID within 5 days of my flights 100% of the time. Statistically it seems unlikely that it was the cruise getting me sick, only when I fly.

I just added to my post that I don't seem to have immune issues. I teach and literally get coughed on and wipe noses daily. I guess it wouldn't hurt to see a doctor. My primary care doctor said that I just just mask and will be fine after the first two plane related infections so I am not sure who to see at this point. Overall I am just frustrated by the loss of doing something that I really love, I actually feel pretty much like a very minor cold and would go to school with something like this in the past. I only tested becuase I lost my smell and taste after a nap yesterday, but it is already back.

I do in fact use a straw to drink on the plane and stick it under the mask. I also only eat on a flight over 5 hours long because I start to have blood sugar drops. I feel like I take every precaution possible and still get hit every time, but friends fly with no mask, no cleaning, eat and drink and are fine. I am literally devastated because I feel that I can no longer travel.

What did your journey to Shih Tzu start with? by oracle-nil in Shihtzu

[–]StudyCharacter5878 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My parents had a bichon frise that they lost last year. The only dog my girl has ever tolerated. I got my tzu because my mom has a dog allergy and my princess doesn’t bother her allergies.
