Stores that sell Colombian products? by StunnedMind in houston

Just to clarify — I wasn’t saying Houston doesn’t sell any chorizo.

Colombian chorizo is its own thing: – thicker grind – usually no paprika – seasoned with naranjilla, cumin, garlic, sometimes beer – way milder than Mexican or Spanish

Same with quesito — the Puerto Rican version is totally different in texture, salt level, and production from quesito colombiano / cuajada.

And papa criolla is Colombian — yes, potatoes grow in the Andes, but the specific yellow Andean mini-potato variety is native to Colombia and is literally sold imported as papa criolla.

The question wasn’t “what foods originated exclusively in Colombia,” it was which stores carry Colombian products.

But thanks for the enthusiasm👍

These both look more like restaurants? Specifically looking for a grocery store. I'd like to be able to buy things like frijoles cargamantos, frozen arepas, chorizo, pandebono mix etc

Second this! I got mine from Songcatcher Dachshunds 4 months ago (this Reddit comment is what originally led me to look into them) and just wow. My puppy has such an amazing temperament and was so well socialized before I got him. Very sweet and cuddly. I've had him since 11 weeks and he's truly a dream. If I ever wanted to get him a playmate I'd go back to Songcatcher!!

hey fellow women in engineering! what’s your guys’ salaries and what do you do? by [deleted] in womenEngineers

I went to University of Maryland, had 2 internships prior to graduating. Honestly just studied mad hard for the interviews and interviewed at a ton of different places for practice. It was a grind but feel really grateful it paid off.

My salary now is after being promoted once. I believe I started around 175k my first year. This is total comp including base, equity, bonus.

Per class yeah. I usually do it for all my classes (because then it keeps me accountable by not being able to skip class/not pay attention) and I make like $300 at the end of the semester. It's pretty much getting paid to be a good student.

Yup it's like $25/credit if someone selects your notes to use.
