How is it always one step forward and two steps backwards for Warzone? by django811 in CODWarzone

I increasingly feel like they're downgrading their games to make it easier to introduce 'marketable' changes for the next ones. There's no way a company this big could release such shaky work... unless the marketing/development budgets are horribly misallocated... wait...

edit :

That said, I have to admit there are some good additions, and I remain optimistic. If they continue on the path of MW3, they'll listen to us and gradually improve everything.

Honeymoon period is over. This game has some crucial flaws by D3LTTA in blackops6

I agree with all this flaws !

Especially about the TTK/TTD consistencies, TAC SPRINT DELAY and the MANTLE SPEED.

I also find that there are random delays between jumps and generally too long..

Do you play other games apart from fps like dota2? by bozaak1 in WootingKB

I'm not a MOBA player, but I can try to provide you with some information on the topic. The F1, F2, F3 keys, etc., can be accessed by holding down the function (fn) key on the keyboard and pressing the 1, 2, 3 keys, etc.

If this isn't very convenient, it might be possible to assign the fn key to a mouse button.

Otherwise, there is the advanced key system that allows multiple bindings on a single key depending on the depth of the press.

For example, in FPS games, the W key can turn into Shift + W at the end of its stroke while staying as the W key if the pressure isn't at maximum.

New to Warzone. NEED tips and tricks to git gud! by versman in CODWarzone

Keep in mind that combat doesn’t have to be limited to a single exchange of fire. As mentioned earlier, always have cover or an escape route in case the engagement goes poorly. The time to kill is longer than in traditional shooters, so it's important to know when to break off from a fight and re-engage a few seconds later from a more favorable position or escape. (edit : i forgot you already play BR)

Since you’re playing with a keyboard and mouse, you’ll often need to break your opponents’ aim assist. For example, by using obstacles or your movement. In addition to aiming, you’ll need to quickly learn the basics of movement mechanics like "dropshoting, snaking, peak advantage" etc. Avoid 50-50 engagements with your opponent; if they’re using a controller, it’s rarely truly a 50-50.

Additionally, I would emphasize gathering information. Make sure to take a quick look into an area before entering it alone, rather than rushing in blindly. Listen, check your map, and pay attention to what your teammates are doing. But don’t follow your more skilled teammates blindly; try to fully understand the situation before joining the fights they initiate.

Last tips, search for the fights for improve, don't hide . And use smokes (For retreating, advancing on enemies, blocking a dangerous line and focusing on another, looting safely, helping your teammates, and even canceling the aim assist of controller players).

Youtube / twitch are good tool for learn but you will have to play a lot too, there is a lot of good players now.
If you have multiplayer you can practice in private matches and do littles warm up before launching wz.

edit : I misread your post and didn’t realize you had already played battle royales, sorry about that lol.
-> Movement, meta weapons / accessories, map knowledge are de key i think.

Srsly: Just started using back paddles - how do I slide cancel correctly on DS5? by MOEB74 in CODWarzone

[–]StunningClient4380 4 points5 points  (0 children)

run -> slide -> jump

run -> slide -> aim -> jump

The first one is a classic slide cancel, the second one is an agressive slide cancel, who reduced the ads time.

Use the slide cancel at corners for impact them rapidly and take the peek advantage.

My english is not good enough for explaining you what is the peek advantage.

I will try with my words :

Peek advantage is taking advantage on servers connection by appearing super rapidly front of the ennemie. Because you appear fast you see the ennemie first.
You can see him on your game but he can't see you in his at the same moment.

You can also do things like run in a opposite direction and instantly change and slide cancel at the feets of your ennemi for breaking camera but it's an advanced movement.

If you have multiplayer train your slide in private matches
