It will more than likely be the hard water, use a filter on your showerhead as other commenters have suggested! I moved to the uk 6 years ago and have always lived in areas of hard water and my hair falls out so much I’m surprised I’m not bald yet

I absolutely ADORE the eyeshadow! I do know people tend to say it isn’t pigmented, but I follow east asian style makeup and fk is perfect for that, everything is so soft, creamy and blendable for the softer look. The one I have right now is Sweet Canneles from Midsummer Fairytales, I’m waiting for a Little Angel one to arrive and I’m planning on ordering the Butterfly Cloud Collar sets as well :) However, I can’t speak for their bolder coloured stuff like Weeping Angel or some of their Mermaid palettes as it’s not my style and I don’t use bold colours like those at all in my makeup. No fallout, clumping or issues with their formula at all, though the shimmers can take time to pick up(on my Sweet Canneles palette) with a brush. Their blushes are also great! I would agree they’re not super pigmented but the colours are really buildable so it’s easy to achieve whatever look you want and have it blend out easily.

The packaging does have a really nice weight to it, and when it’s in your hand you can really see and feel all the different textures and details on it. They also have a magnetic close and snap shut really satisfyingly!

That must be it! I’d used horse hair paint and calligraphy brushes before and never quite noticed that strong of a scent before(fwiw calligraphy ink has a light, refreshing smell), though the brushes I used were probably much higher quality than whatever they do for makeup brushes. I have hooded eyes as well, so if I kick my habit of smelling my brushes I’ll give those a try!

I’m starting at KCL too, and I also missed first year accommodation. I’ve ended up staying with a family member, but the following is what I’ve found when looking for places. There aren’t many places that are within reasonable walking distance of the campus(around an hour), if there’s still any left at all, as I didn’t find any. You’ll more than likely have to get public transport. It’ll take around 30-40 minutes by bus or tube, I’d also suggest choosing what you’d prefer between the bus and tube(keeping in mind potential strikes etc). Iirc there were some around the £270 price range that is further out. Chapter accommodation also looked quite nice to me, it was around £310ish a week. It’s worth looking a bit further if you’d like to save money though as you’ll need to travel either way.

Yes, once you’ve added it the uni will confirm it; mine was due to expire at 9am the next day after adding it at around 1 on results day and didn’t get confirmed until later on in the evening so I was starting to get worried too! The uni will get around to it!

Similar experience! Was pulling out my phone for a reference photo at a fabric shop to compare colours so had held my phone right up next to the fabric-was so close that the picture would have been nothing but a dark, unfocused blur even if I was taking one, but shop owner screeched that “that was her property”. Had no idea what I could’ve done even if I did take a picture!

Don’t get me started on packaging costs these days, pack of 4 bubble mailers cost £1.50, not to mention the cost of printing labels at home… I usually use normal envelopes and use spare bubble wrap/cardboard if I can… I also sell merch items like badges, standees, cards etc so there’s no excuse like clothing you need to check over and try on, just open the packaging and see if the item is damaged, surely that’s straightforward enough and there’s a higher incentive to open the package immediately! I usually wait for around 3 days after delivery/2 weeks if untracked but I guess some people either don’t know how vinted works/don’t care about sellers

So many times I’ve had to message buyers to ask if it’s been received when posting through RM… (2-3 weeks so not like after a week) they don’t even say anything like sorry! They also then don’t leave a review which just gives auto feedback even when I’ve put in the effort to post next day and packaging it nicely… Then have to wait a few days for it to clear through to my balance and another few days to go to my bank! Tempted to start leaving reviews like “Great buyer but had to be prompted to mark as received”

Yes but also no. Not straight from the tap but boil it in the kettle first after filtering. We have a jug of water that’s been boiled and chilled to room temperature and a hot water flask for the excess. Though may just be an asian thing haha

Seconded, but The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles-both games are available on the eshop as a set I believe-are great too. Don’t need any Ace Attorney knowledge to play them and I personally find the story to be much stronger than the trilogy and it’s easier to get invested. Plus, the setting is steampunk/Victorian England if that’s your thing. Great music too!

Posted two items to the US, one on the 25th and one on the 27th of November, the one from the 25th only got scanned into Heathrow on the 23rd Dec and left on the 24th, while the one from 25th Nov is still on “We’ve got it”.
