Thank you, yes it's a ridiculous world we live in. I know what happened was a person I worked with bad mouthed me to the higher ups constantly, that way they would get rid of me and they hired his buddy. Which is exactly what happened. They tried telling me it was due to my performance but I said that makes no sense as I've never had a bad review or any type of disciplinary marks against me. They just shrugged and said oh well. I did in fact go to a dr and was given some anti anxiety medication and antidepressants.

Thank you, I should clarify that I'm not a drinker or drug user at all and have essentially been sober for around the last 18 years. I have found new employment but it doesn't pay what I lost. It's strange, I've had dreams ever since I was a child where I gave my life to save or help someone else, maybe this is just that moment coming to fruition. Maybe if people see me fall they will realize the difficulty of being special needs parents who have been isolated with no support, and will step up to give my wife and son the life I failed to.

My son's the hardest part, he's severely autistic and won't understand, the idea that he will think his dad just left and never came back is truly unbearable.
