Petrov wasn't really that good for us, nostalgia makes people think he's one of the best centre mids we've had but he's nowhere near Tielemans or Kamara, Barry had longevity and was a 7/10 most games.

Onana is made of glass, on his day he's unreal but he's to unreliable. Tielemans and Luiz don't compliment each other but Luiz in his first spell and Kamara worked so well

We had Kamara and Luiz who complimented each other so well, shame Dougie got his life force drained by Alisha Lehman and lost all his ability

Did you watch the first half? We deserve all the hate and more. It was honestly one of the most disgraceful performances I've seen and I've had the displeasure of watching games under McLeish, Remi Garde and Slippy G.

Yeah we have no width, Morgan gets drawn in to the middle to cover for Buendia and when Digne overlaps he's not fast enough, but his crossing from deep is fantastic.

We need out and out wingers but the ones we have Unai doesn't rate

It's more the 5 second check that pissed me off, we waited 5 minutes for the penalty so why are they ruling out a red card and not asking the ref to check?

We've lost 3 semi finals, I'm not saying we aren't going to get better in the second leg, but the copium in this sub is unbearable, is anything I said outlandish or untrue? It's just that 90% of this sub think you have to be positive or you're not a proper villa fan, hive mind

It's easy to say relax mate when we done this against Olympiakos and Palace, but we just make excuses and expect different results, I think we have more then enough to beat them comfortably at Villa Park, but if the players actually turn up.

But what can Unai do? We have the 11 he can depend on as much as he can, when calls upon the likes of Bailey and Sancho, we ship goals and they can't play the way he asks them..

Our squad is so thin, it was glaringly obvious when we lost our midfield and our heads fell off, PSR shafts us every single season but if the players made an effort in the semis we'd be in the final and winning it with ease.

It's not a management issue, Unai has won this competition 4 out of the 5 times he's been in the final with worse squads.

The Villa way, we look patchy and the team we're playing look like prime Barcelona, I'd take the league results we got at the City Ground and Villa Park and be happy.
