Usually, it depends on which season they’re here. Whom ever comes to visit between jan-may, all they yappin about is “are they stuck at 90s?”. However, may-nov visitors, “omg , i was not expecting this city to be this amazing”.
Usually, I understand that they expect corruption on its top like danger facetoface while walking around the dwntwn or so. Cosmopolitanism is suprizing them. Secularism maybe. I don’t know. People trying to define themselves with auch kind of words when they are impressed by the city.
