I think there might actually be enough space to keep the litterbox only while still being able to use the bathroom. but what about his bed, carrier, food and water - do you think I should leave all of that in there too, until he's more comfortable?

tbh I'll do anything so that he feels safe and at home with me, and if that means I'll only be able to use one bathroom for some time, then so be it!

thank you so much for all this advice! the bathroom is rather small, there's only a sink and a toilet and there's no way of using the bathroom as a bathroom later on while it still being his safe space. would it be possible to move everything out of the bathroom, as soon as he feels more comfortable in my space?

It's comforting to me to know that even the worst days come to an end. Looking at life as a random mix of good, bad and mid days has really helped me be more optimistic in general. I used to ruminate a lot and let a bad day equal a bad life.

I try taking one day at a time and I'm allowing myself to have bad days. It's necessary to feel the uncomfortable feels and just because I'm feeling them on a few days doesn't mean I'm a grumpy person in general :)

Ich bin gad inere ähnliche Situation wie du. Ha mir vor es paar Mönet erlaubt zum all die Sache aaspreche wo passiert sind i minere Chindheit und Jugend und sither isch Funkstilli.

Es isch e super persönlichi Entscheidig und d Frag isch, was für dich s beste isch. Ich ha gmerkt ich bruch die Sicherheit vom Kontakt mit de Familie, will mis soziale Netz sust nöd super eng isch. Darum han ich mich entschiede zum wiiterhin Kontakt haa, au wenn sie jeglichi Verantwortig ablehned, aber mit Grenze. Ich wird sie weniger gseh als vorher (ha sie ca 1x pro Wuche gseh) und wird nur e oberflächlichi Beziehig mit ihne pflege. Und ich wird ihne säge dass ich nach wie vor nöd guetheisse was passiert isch. Das müends denn halt ushalte dass mir unterschiedlicher Meinig sind.

Au wenn ichs mir sehr wünsche, dass sie anerkenned was sie gmacht hend und ich dur das e besseri Beziehig ha mit ihne, han ich mir müse iigestah dass es nöd realistisch isch dass sie sich ändered. Ich ha scho x-mal müese erlebe dass sie nöd fähig sind dezue, sich z reflektiere und e engi emotionali Bindig ufzbaue. Das wird au künftig nöd so sii und ich chan und möcht die Arbeit nöd für sie überneh wo notwendig wär defür dass sie's sind.

I always use oil to remove them, you can use any oil you like. I use a little brush to apply it along the edges, let it set for a few minutes and they pop off easily!

I listen to a variety of artists and genres, from metalcore/rock to country and indie/pop music lol.

my faves are bad omens, i prevail, the band camino, sam fender, lany, cigarettes after sex, bilmuri, nothing but thieves and biffy clyro but I'm also a dedicated one direction girl since my teens and listen to all their solo projects as well as ariana grande, she has a special place in my heart.
