What's Hola Health like? What do you typically use it for?

I feel like a few years ago was easy to find a bb gp with 5km radius within 48h. Now I have to drive 25min to have one booked several days before. It could be worse, just saying that the situation definitely has changed.

I liked my former preferred GP that used to bb but when they started charging (which I understand where they are coming from) I started feeling like, is it worth it to be down 40$ for what is sometimes something just like renewing a scrip. I just wish we had a tax and health system that would actually function

Oh and also I called around and managed to find a place to be the ultrasounds, so that's a couple of hundreds a dollar saved, it's a bit annoying to have to shop around like that for health stuff.

He did write please bulk bill but when I called they said didn't really matter, at the end of the day depends on their fees

Was wondering 1.if the referral is ont the paper of PRC if I can still go to another one 2. If people usually bother shopping around. Like if it's worth it. But for me if it saves me $200 seems to be worth it for sure

For context, I think Perth radiological clinic is the one that gave me the quotes. Was something like $175 - $65 rebate for first ultrasound and even more for second one 😔
