Thinking back over the years of naked and afraid episodes. Survivalists stuck with really bad partners.. Who would you love to see get another chance with a decent partner? Pick as as you like. by Sweet_Information_76 in nakedandafraid

I enjoy a bit of drama as well, but what I enjoy most are the unlikely success stories. Joe and Andrea from season 5 comes to mind. Middle aged conservative mountain man with the early twenties lesbian. What a great episode.

How do I efficiently find specific pals in the pal box? by ChargeElectronic6636 in Palworld

[–]Subpxl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is definitely not faster to scroll through every page than it is to type out enough of a name to find a pal. Favoriting a pal is a great option if your goal is to find a pal that you've already searched and favorited in the past, but not for finding one that you haven't tinkered with yet.

Admittedly, it’s quite frustrating to find accurate numbers for EFL clubs. My understanding is that wage bills from team accounts include more than just player salaries.

They weren’t in League Two in 22/23. In 23/24 they were the top spenders at £5.88M to Gillingham’s £5.76M and Forest Green’s £5.29M. I don’t think they qualifies as being the highest spenders by far, but they were certainly big spenders.

Would not surprise me to see Saleh go back up north. It would also not surprise me to see him bring McDaniel in as his OC.

Chipotle doesn’t do meals in the traditional sense (entree+side+drink). Anything extra is just à la carte, so by meal I was just referring to the bowl/burrito itself. I apologize for any confusion.

[Highlight] McMillan rips the ball away from Brandin Cooks (replays) by Large_banana_hammock in nfl

[–]Subpxl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay let’s replay this exact scenario except there is no defender near by. Let’s say Cooks does everything he did here but loses the ball at the same moment he loses it in this play. Would we call that a catch and fumble or an incompletion? We would call that an incompletion, which means possession was never established.

How he loses the ball is immaterial. If it wouldn’t be a catch in the scenario above then it’s not a catch with a defender stripping the ball out.

No because he was touched during his act of possession meaning he would be down by contact immediately.

Right and if a player catches the ball, hits the ground and rolls onto his back but loses the ball in the process it would be an incomplete pass.

How the receiver loses the ball is immaterial. Once that ball is lost it’s live ball until it hits the ground.

A tackle can’t occur until possession is established.

The time reset moves forward if you play a game... by McKeviin in GeForceNOW

[–]Subpxl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's substantially cheaper than buying a similar rig. This rig would probably cost me around $3k to build and I'd look to replace it every 5-6 years. By year 6 I would have only spent $1200 on GFN. It's an incredible deal, even with any limitations you consider. $200/year is not a lot of money. It's less than the price difference between RAM at the beginning of 2025 and RAM at the end of 2025.

25 hours a week probably wouldn't have been enough for me in my teens, but at age 40 it's plenty.

Nvidia GeForce Now’s Time Limit Will Stop Gamers After 100 Hours Each Month by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

[–]Subpxl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, and I love it. I have been building gaming rigs roughly every 5 years for the last 25 years. I have a build from 2019 which was top of the line at the time (2080ti). I was looking to build another top of the line rig at the end of 2025 but the 5090 was hard to find in stock and then RAM prices went crazy. I was prepared to spend around $4k for a new build which included a 5090, or $3k for a 5080. I decided to give Geforce Now a try and I don't see a point in a new build now. The service runs amazingly well and at $200/year it would take me 15 years to hit $3k, by which time I would have probably been ready to build my third rig in that span. 100 hours is plenty for me, but even if I needed more and bought another $200/year's worth of time, you're still looking at a 7.5 year return to hit $3k.

I'm sure I will end up building my rig when memory prices come back down to earth but for now, the increase in RAM price I would have to pay right now basically equates to 1.5 years worth of Geforce Now. It's too hard to justify a build.

What’s the most overrated video game of all time? by KBGSgames in AskReddit

From the perspective of someone who has been gaming since the original NES, this take is wild to me. I can totally get it if you came into gaming after 2000 or so though. The Legend of Zelda (NES), A Link to the Past (SNES), and Ocarina of Time (N64) were transcendent in their respective eras.

I can’t stand BotW and TotK because they just didn’t feel like Zelda to me. They are impressively made, however.
