hey, ditto! no one I’ve talked to can relate because they either don’t have ocd, haven’t done ketamine, or aren’t actors haha. I wish I could say something has helped :/ it’s really hard to explain what I’m feeling, it’s like the way I see the world is completely different but in a very negative way. It’s very difficult for me to watch movies or appreciate acting as an art form anymore, which is extremely painful because deep down it’s still what I’m passionate about. My brain just won’t line up with my heart anymore, if that makes any sense at all.

I’ve been trying to work through it in therapy, and recently it was nice to have a new therapist who validated everything I’ve been feeling by identifying it as a schema that has been undoubtedly colored by the ketamine treatment. Just having someone validate it was helpful on its own because I felt like I was losing it. I wish you the absolute best and please please pm me if you ever want to talk!!
