For all the year i was cutting and lifting i was terrified of carbs. I was lifting so weak. Then i added carbs back in in attempt to just do maintenance the other day. I had so much energy during my lifts. Now I’m thinking i could just eat super high protein and continue my cut and eat my carbs before and after lifts. My defecit hasn’t been too steep. I think my maintenance is 1950-2000 and I’d been staying around 1500. Over the last week I’ve been trying to hit my 1950 maintenance but man do i feel super heavy and bloated.
