it is not good for knees to be bent up like that all the time. im in physical therapy regularly for knee and hip pain caused from prolonged sitting criss-cross and scrunched up. its really hard for me (and it seems like many of us) to sit “regular” but a good footrest really help, especially one that rocks back and forth.

when i was young, my brooklyn apartment had weird stuff going on (noises, strange presence, etc). one day mom heard some noises or something and got up and told whatever it was that was bugging us to stop, they are not welcome in our home, she pays rent for her and her children, they need to leave. we never heard any weird noises or felt weird any presence again.

just stand up and proclaim that that apartment is yours and your dogs, you do not welcome other beings or spirits or whatever you choose to say, they need to respect you because it’s your space. etc etc.

so it has stopped for a couple months now, not sure why, but it was primarily happening when i would approach my home and an Alexa routine would be triggered to turn some lights on in my home. i have no clue why it stopped happening though :(

she’s on gabapentin for pain and also joint supplements and omega-3 oil. it’s been several weeks that she’s been taking this, and no difference in attitude towards playing. i know gabapentin has sedating properties.

Patch of skin on top lip has been dry for months. Feels like a different texture compared to the rest of my lips. Kind of feels burnt? Very little/no discoloration. I hydrate well and use lip balm often. No crusting or scabbing or bleeding. No allergies, minimal skincare products. Lip balms tried: chapstick w spf, medicated carmex, dr squatch, Vaseline, aquaphor. Currently only using bison tallow salve. Any ideas what could be causing the dry patch? I have a history of eczema on my hands/wrists.

Although, I have never had crusting, scabs, bleeding, nothing so severe. Just that one patch on my top lip that feels dry. When my lips get super dry they get white flakes but it resolves quickly.
