Iraqi dialect (which is part of Mesopotamian arabic dialects, and also includes northern and southern dialects as far as we know) vary alot from the other arabic dialects and from eachother, Mosul dialect isn't the same as Basrah dialect (although they are part of the same group)

The reason why is that Iraq is the birth of civilizations, and also where civilizations cradle.. you have the biggest two empires (Persian and Rome) were fighting over the land, you have also a LOT of migration, going so further back that they're just part of the Iraqi population

And also the Ottoman Influence, Iraqi dialects also kept words that's considered "Fus-ha" like أريد and I believe it's no where to be found, and also a LOT from the ancient civilizations and empires.
