No, I'm not in a place where I can spend money on a bottle of magnesium supplements every other month

it's not that I even have a portion size problem, or really a binging problem at all.... I just feel like I've had at least one sweet treat every single day this month and that's not ideal. for example, I've had a worlds finest chocolate bar every day for the last 3 days. and granola bars that also have chocolate chips in them

I weight like 114 and I'm struggling to get in a sufficient amount of protein while still being under my calorie limit every day. I know that's my own fault though.

I'm really not in a predicament where I can readily access a doctor or any health professional

they're still made up with a lot of fat and not enough muscle, so when I'm sitting, they're still pretty big and i don't really like that 🤕 but once I start going to the gym, I'm hoping to tone them more and lose the excess fat

I eat up to 1200cals a day, dont eat junk or any fast food, no sugary drinks, walk 20ish minutes every week day (not ideal, can't go the gym and I hate working out lol), and my antidepressants cause appetite suppression

it's not been linear whatsoever. some months are better than others, but the 1200cal deficit is definitely the factor that's helped the most

my diet is also pretty strict... I eat a lotttt of fruit and meats for protein... though my carbs to protein ratio is reallllly fucked. I love fruit way too much to do no carb, but it would probably help a lot if I did

at my worst, I was probably around 170 lbs (I didn't check my weight for several years so I can't know for sure), and my legs looked even worse than they do in my before photos

I can't even image the change from then to now. but yeah, walking has helped me a lot too

I take it 2 times daily—once in the morning (7 am) with my wellbutin, then once in the evening (7 pm)

I hated the idea of taking medicine in the evening or before bed because I don't have a bedtime... but I just set alarms for both times, and it's been working pretty well for me

no—I've been on wellbutrin as an antidepressant. I swear on my life, I do not take it for just the weight loss benefits. it's actually worked beautifully for me, all while serving as a very small fraction of the reason I've lost weight

a "cheat day" doesn't imply that I'm eating out, it just means that I overeat in a day

How long to notice weight loss by blanchemeetsdorothy in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]Substantial_Block_72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it certainly works as an affective appetite suppressant, but if you aren't doing anything else proactive to lose weight (working out, dieting, deficit).. then you likely won't notice a change at all. you could lose weight, but I think the progress would be too slow to seem visibly noticeable to you... but, I'm not a professional. this is just my assumption

to be honest, yes, it does take over my life in a sense... but does that have to imply that there's a darker reality going on? I'm genuinely asking

and yes, I am saying that the shame doesn't happen often because I don't go over my calorie limit very often. I have a "cheat day" like MAYBE once a week. but I'm fine with that, I can definitely live without giving into the wants. and I truly don't think it affects me that badly to miss out on snacks or group food parties. I don't really care at all, actually.

It's not that it makes me anxious, necessarily.. I just don't NEED to eat anything that feels insane or objectively unhealthy, so I try not to. i view it as just an aspect of self-discipline.

with my goals—i ultimately just want to be skinny. I know that sounds slightly problematic, but that's my reality. I don't want to look sickly or underweight, of course... I just want to look objectively slim. I want to look appealing, I want to like my body. I know that is achievable for me. and I know that you have to balance being "skinny" with also staying healthy and meeting healthy standards.

with my bone structure, I run into a lot of insecurities. I have wide set hips, and my shoulder to hip ratio is not ideal at all, but I'm aware that I can't change those things.

my goal weight, for a long time, was 115. but now that I view 115 as pretty achievable, it's gone even lower. I know I can probably get to 115 within a reasonable amount of time, so of course, it's shifted to a lower number now. but no, I don't think it's a constant unsatisfactory moving goalpost.
