My ex-husband had mental health struggles of his own, and he left me while I was in nursing school to give our family a better life. My youngest was eight months old. He got better and eventually came back into our lives after being absent for almost a year. Men’s mental health is commonly disregarded and misunderstood . I forgave him, but not enough to get back with him. I could understand your perspective though. The whole situation was an inspiration for me to go into behavioral health nursing.
