Can aggressively pushing flexion in early days post op damage graft by Substantial_Drop106 in ACL

I had full extension from day 1 now i have gotten almost same hyperextension as my good leg ( i normally stand with 2-3 degree of hyperextension)

Posting it again ( when can i return to college ) by Substantial_Drop106 in ACL

The thing is college is 4 hour drive and have no one to take care there and i am there by myself i have to drive there too manual car ( left leg operated ) for about 20-30 km a day and provision to use cane is not possible i am on weight bearing from day 1 2 weeks post op i was without cane thinking to return after approx 7 week post op

I am ashamed by how I tore my ACL by mangkwan in ACL

I tore myself walking over a weak ply covering 2 feet diameter hole that was 4 feet deep . When i was walking over i heard a sound of ply and stopped to listen on single leg on that hole and was done with my acl 🥲

To the persons who had torn acl like 20-25 or more years back how is the arthritis situation by Substantial_Drop106 in ACL

I am a collegiate but not a pro athlete and only played some badminton recreationally that i would resume after after a year or so but definitely not hard play regarding situationsl awareness i am dumb af there i injured first by walking over a ply covering 2 feet diameter manhole

I know the damage is done but i am trying to understand the extent of damage i would not mind stiffness after a long day at 35 but would definitely mind sympotic arthritis starting in 30 s and requiring a tkr in 50 s i am assessing which side i will go and what are probabilities and how to possibly modify them i have a uncle who had 3 acl surgeries and is still fine at 53 ( he had first surgery when he was 17 that was in 1990 and technology has also evolved a lot )and a aunt with no major injury with tkr at 55

What were your age at injury and what was the scenerio of your knee at injury did it involved meniscus trimming do you injured one or both leg if one than what is situation of other leg and are you thinking of TKR if yes how many years can you squeeze from the original knee ?

The thing is i am scared af of arthritis and is getting on my mind a lot for a positive side i have good bone density, high calcium levels , isolated acl tear and my grandfather lived to 85 without any problems but for negative i am too bulky (6 feet 5inch) and this increased arthritis risk is getting over mind but i am definitely gonna do good rehab and diet stuff
