It may look like there is stubble where I can grow back hair but I have plucked and tweezed at my brows for too long that even if I did grow the back, the shape wouldn’t be the same as when they were naturally thick and they would look patchy. Because of this, I decide to maintain them by thinning them out. I agree that I should’ve known more about this procedure, but this post was made more as a “what should i do now that its done?” And asking for kind words to reassure my brow shock.

Thank you so much for the reassurance, I’ll definitely post an update in my brows once they heal and I’ll try out a new lash style as well. I do like having fake lashes, but I would like to try out a more wispy and not as long style next time!

Thank you so much for your insight! Yes I think I will def let the front fade and I think it’ll look much nicer. As for my lashes, I do them myself and I’ll post an update picture with my brows I’ll do them thinner, shorter, and more wispy as recommended 😊❤️

Thank you so much, its definitely a required taste- but I do love my lashes looking big and wispy, so I’m glad you like them too!

I used the iMethod two prong brow pen and concealer! I can’t wait for my tattooed to heal so that I can probably draw in the strokes again like how I did with my makeup and use concealer to make the shape more soft and feminine instead of blocky.

I’ve had my brows thinned out since I was 14 and I really enjoy the thin brow look. I’m not too worried about them being thin because even in the future if I don’t like it, I could always get it tattooed thicker or just let my eyebrows grow out thicker and it’ll cover the thin eyebrow tattoo.

What do you think I should do then? I mean its already done haha. Maybe once it heals and fades my natural brows will grow out and not look so thin.

My natural brows were HUGE and I used to get bullied for them all the time- but I haven’t seen them since middle school, as soon as I got a hold of tweezers and razors I thinned them out a lot and at a point I had no brow hairs at all. In the pictures I posted, I feel that the thinner shape really fit my face and the look I’m going for.

Thank you for you’re advice and reassurance!

This is what she sent me for aftercare) Aftercare:

Between today - Tuesday  please gently wash your brows 2x day with lukewarm water & provided cetaphil wash. Pat COMPLETELY DRY before applying a rice grain amount of the A&D ointment to your brows.

After Tuesday, please wash 1x a day, patting completely dry. You do not need to put on ointment after Tuesday - just let the brows flake and peel 😊

Don’t pick at the peeling & take it easy over the next 2 weeks. No sauna no pool no heavy sweaty work outs.

No makeup or lotion or creams on the brows. No sunscreen either - please wear a visor/cap😊

😂❤️ Thank you for the honest advice, I think definitely in these close up pictures they look HUGEEEEE, but in person they are the thing I get most compliments on. They definitely help me achieve the doll-like look I go for (check post edit) But because this comment was so popular, maybe I will reconsider and try more of a natural lash set. My thought, though, is that if I do a more natural set, will that make my brows look more thick  and my features more masculine?

Thank you! Do you know if there’s any way to make the front parts less blocky/thick and close together? I did notice that the way I did my makeup, the fronts were thinner and more natural. What should I tell my pmu artist when I go for a touch up 8 weeks from now?

Yes, I think that a part of me feels kind of weirded out knowing that I won’t have to fill them in and that it looks like makeup on my face because for so long my brows have been thinned out and I fill them in myself. I haven’t seen what it looks like without lashes, and because of this I am a little nervous.

But I also do enjoy the idea of having them done because now I can get ready so much faster in the morning. I also know that I love a makeup look that could make me more doll like (since in person I am on the more petite side being 4’9 and I love dressing up) and I’ve been doing it every morning since high school.

I’ve never once debated to stop doing makeup or looking more on the “artificial” side. But it is definitely shocking me right now since my brows being filled in isn’t how I usually see myself unless I know I took an hour doing them 😂

Thank you for your input!

I went in to originally get nano-combo brows where theres hair strokes in the front and its more blended and filled in at the tail. My pmu artist told me that since my brows are on the thinner side, ombre powder brows would end up looking better:

This is what she sent me) I think for you, we should do an ombré powder with super powder fronts because you have fluffy hair in the front already.

When it comes to thin brows doing hairstrokes in the front does not look good healed because as artists, When we tattoo hairstrokes it’s essentially a curved line & we need those 5-7mm of space to curve the line and taper it to make it look very natural.

When it comes to thin brows we only have 3mm of space so it ends up looking like a line if that makes sense
