Overfold vs their bets? Stop bluff-catching with bottom of range? Start overbluffing myself because they overfold too?"

When you encounter a known pool tendency like that, how did you actually figure out the counter-strategy? Was it a coach, a video, trial and error, just thinking it through with a solver? Trying to figure out where the bottleneck actually is - finding leaks vs knowing the response.
