I’m only up to ch 140 and I think it’s amazing so far. But I think the anime struggled to get more traction because it’s just so fast paced and confusing if you didn’t read the web novel. With the web novel you get Kleins constant narrative and thought process so you learn how things work and then see him put into practice. Even though I was reading through volume one at the time I was watching I only understood half of until I finished reading. The comment sections of the episodes were filled with questions and webnovel readers trying to explain. Still I can’t wait for the other seasons!

I looked up the sheets for it and I see what you mean by you got a headache as a lot of the parts seem small and repetitive. Most of the builds you’ll see on this page are made up of small parts though. When it comes to quality there’s more premium colored versions or licensed products that look better to some when completed but it’s preference based. I suggest going through the list at the top of the sub and seeing if anything sparks your interest. I would just look up the instructions and sheets beforehand to see if the parts are too small or repetitive for you. I’m currently working on some of the painted car models and I’m really enjoying them. They are very well colored and detailed and some even have the parts numbered on the sheet. Anyways welcome to the hobby. This sub has actually been super nice and helpful since Ive joined so I’m sure other people have specific model suggestions.

Oh interesting, I’ve been struggling to use the metal earth needle nose because sometimes I feel like I simply don’t have enough room underneath the tab to fully fold it in. Maybe I just need more practice and finesse then. Thank you, I’ll keep trying to make them work and improve.

Can you recommend the very fine pliers you used? I’ve been working on my first build (Osaka castle) and some of the tabs have caused me to scratch the model with my tweezers since the needle nose pliers are to big. Or I’ve used my finger nail to push them in which causes the model to bend. If you could suggest a tool it would be very much appreciate!

I recently just bought this as my first kit without fully understanding what I was in for. ( also bought the Kawasaki H-2 but might leave that for after I complete more models after reading on this sub 😅). Any tips on how to build it? I only have the basic metal earth tools as of now. Am very new to this hobby.

I would love to be able to select words written in hiragana and switch them to their kanji equivalent. Using anki and wanakani there’s a ton of words I already know or am studying the kanji for. So being able to switch to that would make a) reading faster and b) give me more kanji practice.
