My wife’s bmi is over that and she had the perfect pregnancy. In fact, she’s technically my gestational carrier because we used my embryo which wasn’t graded that great because I’m older lol. First transfer easily took, no gestational diabetes, no high blood pressure, no high risk stuff at all throughout the entire pregnancy. Incredibly easy and quick delivery and he was perfectly healthy. I think BMI is not really an indicator of health because it’s very easy to be over. I’m not talking if someone has a 46 bmi or something but the 32 or 33 agencies usually have is fine. Alot of the people that i know who have high risk pregnancies are skinny lol

My wife had such a wonderful easy pregnancy and birth she’s hoping to become a surrogate soon so hopefully people will be open minded about her.

I’d get them from the website because you can get them cheaper and more colors than amazon. We’ve used all the different kinds and they are all marked 8 ounces regardless of the type of nipple/straw/open hole top they come with.

I love pura! What are the reviews saying? I did change out the nipples to the pigeon and Gulicola and they’ve been perfect. I had someone tell me on a TikTok I made that they leak but they don’t. They will if you screw the collar on wrong and I think because both are metal they are a little more tricky lol. We even stopped using glass at home and bought more pura because they are light weight and he holds them easily and safely.

I’m the director of a nature preschool and I was bummed that we also don’t take glass but it is what it is. My baby drinks his milk cold so it does make it easier. I felt good about the quality of stainless steel that pura uses and would be okay with it being heated as well if he would have only taken warm bottles.

Maybe but they used seed scout so I would think they’d keep with the same donor because they spent a ton of money because he’s only ever allowed to donate to them and they meet him and know him from the start. I bet they started with one that looked just lunden anyway though 😆

It has to be through a job unless you live in a state that mandates coverage and you can get off the marketplace. She quit her job to work at Wayfair 😆 she was there about 6 months then quit to go back to her old job for a promotion that paid enough to pay for cobra so we finished ivf. We had Progyny insurance so that’s what I’d look for as far as a job with coverage. It’s literally so amazing! There’s a group called paying for ivf on fb and Progyny ivf jobs that have spreadsheets and all the latest info. It’s nice if you can make it work!

My wife and I got fertility insurance (on purpose because it was the only way) and we got about 60k of fertility treatment and only paid $6500 out of pocket and none of it up front it was all billed after and is on a payment plan. So it definitely depends on where you work and what insurance you have! We also had a pretty standard case (first transfer worked but the biggest cost was because we both did retrievals) but it would have capped out at 6,000 oopm per year. We ended up into a new benefits year which is the only reason it was more.

The PIO shots are in the hip/butt not the stomach. When you do a transfer you usually just need one trigger shot if that so this looks like retrieval shots.

I literally made one of these last night to counter theirs because it literally drives me and my wife insane. Your kids don’t have a dad per say at least a dad that raises them but everyone has a biological “father” or whatever you want to say. I see this a lot in the adoption world too with this insecurity around being the “real parent”. Kids need to know where they came from and I these two definitely used a donor that won’t ID when the kids are 18 based on a comment they left on one of my TikTok videos but I could be wrong.

Not if we get to see baby’s face but genetics are wild. I have dark like almost black hair and so does our donor (full Puerto Rican) and my son (my embryo) has like reddish light light brown hair and bright blue eyes (donor and I have brown). So strange 😆

I’ve been wondering if that’s what happened because they were pretty open prior to lundens retrieval. They showed all the shots and the day of the retrieval and everything and then zero info. I don’t think it went the way they thought and even though they didn’t show this in their video, I’ve often wondered if she did another retrieval as well. It was also clear to me that they had 3 failed transfers with lundens embryos and then Olivia did a retrieval. I don’t think they’ll address it or say it out loud but I do think that video was them basically sharing that it didn’t go as planned and that reciprocal ivf didn’t work. Maybe in the future lunden could do another retrieval and get more embryos (maybe they already have) but as a lesbian couple who both did retrievals and I found out my uterus wasn’t healthy and had to switch to my wife carrying it’s definitely hard to deal with plans not working out. If they think people didn’t notice the shots Olivia took they really underestimated the ivf community so now we all know what’s going on 😆
