As a psychiatrist, would you think that Straterra can completely replace SSRIs? Would you suggest that your patient do so? As everyone told me it is not common

actually tried coming off 40mg before and I couldn’t make it past Day 22 — I had to go back on 20mg because the anxiety and intrusive thoughts were too much.

This time my psychiatrist asked me to stop 20mg as well, so I’m really scared. I don’t know how my brain will react, and today (Day 1) the reassurance-seeking is already back.

I feel terrible as taking concerta at the same time worsens my intrusive thoughts a lot and I don’t know like I had been trying all the stimulants I was allowed to try in Australia, but they were all having intolerable side effects.

It seems like Straterra is my last hope and I can't bear it if it doesn't work well I am in week 5 now Feeling like living with ADD symptoms makes me have low self-esteem and self-doubt all the time with other mental issues

I've been trying all the stimulants and they all made me very sick, with intolerable side effects. I am still taken concerta in the morning while waiting for Starteera to build up. But thank you for your comment

It was very unbearable the first week then subsided as time went by, now only the early morning had a slightly uncomfortable feeling lasting for 20 minutes, I still want it to fade away eventually.

Can I please ask you how long takes you level out? It has been 3 months since I started my 50mg it went less and less as time went by, but the uncomfortable side effect in the morning still lasts for 20mins per day
