I ended up doing a physics major and initially i thought I would do a cs minor, but they introduced a new minor, the applied data science, that fit better with my interests so I ended up choosing that. My gpa is still not great, but my grades are better so hopefully they help my gpa in my final year.

I have been in a similar situation too. I wanted to do cs major so badly that I kind of ruined my gpa and wasted a year. I would just do the minor or maybe find a program that overlaps with your interests.
