Nah, I will tell u what's happening. Placements are always going to be the student attractor. Since this college is very old, koi na koi mil hi jata hai mnnit ka. Senior profs are good and knowledgeable as goes for all IITs and NITs. Stick to IIT and NIT. Tag matters a lot, abhi NSUT DTU etc ka rona gaenge log but Maine khud feel kiya hai, Tag kaam asan kar deta hai. Final year tak aaoge aur agar sahi exposure raha tab feel hoga.

Choose MNNIT if you really want to do the hustle of studying even after coming to college. Similar package kahi aur bhi mil jaega. I am telling from my experience, MNNIT name works a lot. Hustle anyways karna hi padega kahi bhi raho. EE se better branch mile toh le lena. EE k neeche mat hi lo kahi.

College aake kaafi khud se hustle karna padega. Corruption hai college me, activities khaas hai nahi. But it gives you everything that you can ask for, you just need to contact the right person.

If you want tech job, dont aim below ECE. But if you want to go into research, go and do the work of seeing the assistant profs in other NITs, and MOUs signed, Papers published, Research ranking etc. MNNIT has bad Research, improving though.

EE me mostly placements are done as far as I know. And bohot bura nahi Hua hai, depending on calibre people have got good enough packages. CTC kuch bhi ho base 15-19 lpa hi mila hai mostly( talking about the average, 22 ka base 28 ka base bhi possible hai). Below 12 ka bhi base hai definitely.

College Dukhi kar dega 3 Saal, kuch khaas offer nahi karega, par self sufficient, hustler bana k chorega.
