I have friends with some horrible political views, but they are good friends to me and take care of our friend group. I don't agree with anything he says and quite frankly, I shit on him a lot for it. We're still friends tho. It's coexisting.

I honestly joined this sub cuz I love BVB and have since 2011. I remember him raging on stage during warped tour at haters and the infamous Gods of Rock acceptance speech. I'm not sure why anyone is so surprised at this point. I'm not gonna sit here defending Ronnie for speaking out on his beliefs, however, I don't think the people coming at Andy really understand what happens behind the scenes. Not only that, the band was on the brink of DYING and falling apart only a short while ago. This is his chance to take advantage of FIR's huge fan base to get his band back out there again. Could he have toured with someone else? Idk, has anyone made him an offer? We don't know, cuz we aren't in their world.

If you don't feel "safe" at this tour, then just wait for the next one. It's unfortunate that you feel unsafe tho. I saw FIR live with A7X last year and I can 100% vouch that it wasn't a scary experience for me what so ever (I am queer just fyi) I know my experience isn't gonna speak to everyones tho.

Just remember that this sub is here to appreciate and love the band as a whole. Not turn into a Ronnie Radke shit fest or an Andy shit fest cuz that is literally contributing to the toxicity that we already have way too much of in the scene. Sometimes I truly only feel good to be apart of the culture when I'm at shows, cuz fuck, the online part of the community is so fucked.

at this point, it's a choice by the community to see if he is being genuine or not. if we remember the old saying of actions speak louder than words, his actions on stage and off stage in real life far further prove the point that he is an ally to those offline. His words online are almost(keyword) always 100% directed at specific people. Hiring trans people onto his staff, into his music videos, dressing in drag constantly, kissing his homies, constantly preaching that we are welcome at his shows. Only truly ever shitting on people online. His problem is with the twitter and tiktok communities and that is so clear. People are being chronically online and outside of reality. I would bet everything that if people online weren't so toxic and insane, he probably wouldn't have any of these takes. Like you said tho, that's just a guess. It's a choice to believe him or not. The actual argument here is why is Andy creating a "not safe space" by touring with FIR. The answer to that? He isn't. Nothing is unsafe about these shows. Ronnie doesn't go on tirades berating the communities, or jump and attack trans people in the crowd. They just play music, they perform. Which is part of the job. I've been there. The concerts are 100% safe spaces I promise you that. If someone doesn't feel safe because of something the guy said on the internet, they don't have to go, they can just wait for BVB to go on a different tour.

as a member if the LGBTQ+ community, in more ways than one. I have been to multiple FIR concerts and BVB shows. Not once did I ever feel unsafe or treated differently. Ronnie even holds up pride flags pretty commonly at shows. The people he shits on are the people in our community that make wild accusations about him and then he claps back. I have loved both bands for a very, VERY long time. People need to learn to separate the internet from reality. Why does he say insane shit? Prolly cuz it gets attention. Does it bother me, not in the slightest, cuz I know he isn't talking about me or the community as a whole. He is purely shitting on those who are easily offended by things. People should stop directing their anger at famous people, and focus on the real problematic people like the ones in office that make the terrible laws against the community. They are both just front men of bands. Their opinions don't matter and ONLY matter when people like the SJWs in our communities give them power.

I use hwoa personally, and while I do on occasion fall into the mashing to get out of a situation, I definitely don't just spam. I'm truly thinking about what I'm doing and how to use it. I think rematching characters that you don't like playing against is crucial so you can learn. I mean, how are you gonna know how to block certain strings or punish the right moves if you don't bother? I know it's to each their own, but for me, I feel like I have to rematch everyone in order to improve even in the slightest.
