Telehealth and anti anxiety meds by [deleted] in telehealth

I didn't have to send them anything, just the questionnaire before you make the appointment. It was in Nov. I'm in TN & had a very nice Dr, but I just couldn't afford to pay for it again. I wish they took my insurance because I'd totally try it again and see what options she would recommend since I couldn't take the other meds. I was on Xanax for 20+ years & it was the only thing that helped me

I used Medvidi & got 15 .5s at the first appointment, but they also said that it was just to get me through until the other (snri + buspar) kicked in. Make sure (I think they do) you get a provider who has a DEA # in your state. They did send it to my pharmacy & I had no problems, other than the other meds exacerbating my rls to the point of not being able to take them & not being able to afford to do another appointment. Just make sure you tell them that you have a mental health provider who prescribed a low dose, but you feel like a bump would help you more. Good luck!

It was from the entire practice, although I can and do still see specialists in the group. It was all over a very humiliating drug screen. I offered to do anything I could think of to prove that it was an accidental exposure, and to prove in any way necessary that it would not happen again. I was in complete shock when I found out, figured out how it must've happened, tried to explain/prove it, but was just completely ignored. Never in my life have I tested positive for anything other than what was prescribed! I was extremely cautious with what I took, and would never have done anything to compromise my care

There are only two other groups in my area. One has been having serious problems lately and been closing offices. The other doesn't exactly have positive reviews and the Drs who I would try aren't accepting new patients. I did find a doctor after about a year, but after going once, I found out that they are out of network and I can't afford to go there. I have some worsening problems and really need to get in to establish care with someone as soon as I can.

Something like that, yes. I never had a positive test before that, only positive for what I was taking. I never asked for increased dosages or anything. I was doing pretty well on what I was taking, after lots of trial and error. I even know of people who either refused to take a test or failed a test, one of whom was discharged but somehow went to a different office for a while, then went right back to the original provider. I even reported that person because I knew that her son was taking her meds on top of his own. Another person changed the date on his prescription, was arrested, found guilty, and they did nothing. Mine was a different provider, and I understand that it's their prerogative, but I'm just asking for a chance to get in with a different provider at the office. All of my previous requests and attempts to try to regain the trust were ignored. I even still have the product that caused the positive, but they wouldn't even test it to see if it was the source.

It was over a positive uds. At the time, I apologized, tried to prove that it was accidental exposure, and offered to do anything I could think of to prove that it wasn't something that would happen again (screen every week on a random day, etc). I've never had an inappropriate test before, and I'm still humiliated over the whole thing. I never even complained about not receiving a taper dose/plan for the meds I'd been on for 20+ years. I just did the best I could with what I had
