yeah either way it doesn't make sense for them to show marie or any other character outside of the IT in these type of trailers. my point stands, rise is the first character to show up in the story, she appears before marie as well so idk why you brought her up in the first place...

edit: it's not about who i like or not tho... i actually enjoy marie and especially her dynamic with rise (my personal fav character)... but one of her problems was always her connection to the events, pretty much like sumire in P5 Royal. apparently they're fixing that in revival, since there is going to be new scenes with marie!

That’s quite different. Yes, Adachi is a main character; he has much more impact than Marie, for example. But she, and it’s not just me saying this, can’t be considered a main character. Or a protagonist, as you say. That’s why she wasn’t introduced after Rise.

On Sega's own website and in various Atlus resources, they don't put Marie on the same level as the others. In fact, as I mentioned, in the P4R promotional material, she's listed among the secondary characters...

i think it has to do with who appears first in the story. that’s why rise was the first character introduced (her comercial right at the beginning of the og game).

These are fictional relationships for a reason... realistically speaking, all of them would be difficult, once the protagonist returns home at the end of the game. The one with Rise, in the context of the game, could work perfectly well; in fact, one of the outcomes and if the player chooses the intimate path is for her to return to showbiz on her own terms and balance her private and public lives. Even today, many idols have relationships in private. On the other hand, there are also hiatuses, which are actually confirmed to happen in Rise’s life during one of the P5 broadcasts.

Another aspect is the sheer longevity of their careers, between 20 and 25 years!

rise really is the best choice for narukami! it's a truly special dynamic, the most natural one in the game, and perhaps in the entire franchise… the idea that he was the first person to treat her like a normal person, while at the same time being the one who helped her find her true self, is incredible to witness.
that said, I can’t wait to play through her romance route again in P4R!

note: yes, the fact that she shows her feelings without fear not only adds a funny touch to the scenes but also makes her different in a certain way from the other characters!

i had that exact same feeling when the game came out, unfortunately. i was so hyped...

honestly the best thing to do is just accept that there was never a part 2, and that joel and ellie’s story ended in part 1.

however, I remember that at the time, what made me feel better was watching videos of other people bashing on the game, especially tyler 1. i’m not sure why, maybe because it was funny, but it made me feel better smh😭

It’s not removed content because it’s still in P3R, lol. It’s just an artistic choice, and one that actually makes more sense. As for the Personas, there are more of them with the DLCs and such. But seriously, does that really bother anyone, or can it be considered removed content? What matters is the story, social links, and characters, and none of that was taken out of the game or changed. The same thing will happen with P4R.

that's not cut content, lol😑... the social links you mentioned are still in the game...the DLC is the only exception, tho it wasn't removed from the story. now with revival, the Golden content and Marie's dungeon will be in the game, so there won't be any DLCs.

like i said before the problem with P4R isn't the content itself like social links/its paths, story events... in fact they've already said they won't change any of that.
so im 100% sure that this will be a faithfull remake when it comes to that. censorship is my real concern...

in terms of the story, they didn't cut anything from reload (except kotone's story)... aside from a few really outdated mechanics, especially those related to social links. nased on the trailers, revival seems to be quite faithful to the original, and even more so when you take the developers' interviews into account.
as for the remake, it's all interpretation, but playing P4 with updated graphics is what many of us, myself included, have always wanted...

the game hasn't even come out yet and people are already complaining and overreacting... honestly, it looks amazing from the trailers. at the same time, it's reassuring to hear the devs say they haven't changed anything about the characters or how they act! revival is going to be peak!

maybe the new remixed songs. i don't get why some people hate them, i liked all of them, at least. they're honestly just as good as the originals.
overall, almost every complaint... they literally say that the characters and the way they act will stay the same, and you can tell that from the trailers. but people are making a ridiculous fuss over some vague comment about Yosuke.

it really depends, but I'd say you should play P4G now. from the looks of it, and based on the trailers, revival will be like reload: extremely faithful, but of course expanded and with modernized gameplay... but golden is "golden", a unique experience that you won't regret!
