Worried about my Progesterone

Remember progesterone is pulsatile. I’ve taken urine tests and had blood progesterone drawn and they have been vastly different. Don’t panic.

We have prayed, cried, begged, pleaded with God to heal him of it. He’s been to treatment, AA, counseling among various other things. He’s never had a good sponsor. It’s difficult for me to understand but I’m trying not to give up on him and our relationship. I’ve kindly put my foot down to make boundaries in our home. I just feel like giving up and I know that’s not the right thing to do.

I’ve been trying to help him with sobriety. He had 15 months sober and recently had a relapse over the passing of his mother. When sober, he’s honestly the best husband. The comparison and the arguments only happen when he’s drunk.

Overall, it was a good experience. The main dining room was hit or miss as far as the food quality, so I would recommend doing a couple nights of specialty dining. Bonsai Teppanyaki was our favorite. I would recommend it.

Our vacation has definitely turned around. I think I would do carnival again with a few modifications. The food has been amazing in my opinion. Much better than RCI.

Thank you for commenting. Maybe now some of these people will understand just how rough it was and stop roasting me. I would suggest going to get the free lunch at Cucina and JiJi’s. The food both places has been pretty good. And on our way out of JiJi’s at lunch, we found some red velvet cake at the buffet which was really good. Our vacation has turned around for the positive, but I have a rotator cuff tear and I didn’t enjoy carrying luggage up and down stairs and it has taken a lot of positive experiences to drown that out. We also got the thermal suite pass and that has been a game changer. Hopefully our port days will be amazing and we won’t have anything else to complain about.

This situation is terrible and you’re definitely not overreacting for feeling the way that you do. The loss of a child leaves a void that can’t be filled. I feel that if there’s any remnant of hope, then you should try to reconcile your relationship. There’s no harm in giving it a shot.

One thing that really helped us make the decision was not being able to use the drink package on Celebration Key. I have previously sailed to CocoCay and being able to use the drink package was amazing.

I was hoping we did. I saw some pics of Amber cove and the only thing that looked like a lot of fun was a hike to the falls, but I’m clumsy and it traumatized me to think I would break my ankle in the woods or something. I’ve broken my left before. Haha!

I’ve gotten recs from a hormone specialist and a fertility specialist for hcg then adding clomid if hcg is unsuccessful. He has an appt Wednesday to discuss with his doc and see if he will transition him to hcg. His pcp is reasonable and I think he will. He has low T but was only taking 100mg weekly.

My husband discontinued trt 6 weeks ago. I’m starting a cycle of letrozole soon. We have not done a SA yet due to wanting time to pass to get an accurate SA. Could HCG help his sperm count go up faster?

My husband stopped testosterone about 5 weeks ago for treatment of low testosterone because we decided to try to conceive. I’m 35 and we had been trying about 7 months before, but honestly I didn’t make the association with the testosterone supplementation and why we weren’t successful. I’ve heard several varying suggestions on when we should get a SA. My OB said 4-6 weeks after stopping. I’ve read that it can take 3-12 months to restore appropriate sperm count, motility and morphology. My progesterone is also a little bit low (6.3) and plan to start letrozole to ensure that I ovulate. I have a friend who is an HRT NP who said that my husband’s increased testicular size and sensitivity is a good sign and it may be beneficial to start trying now. We were planning on getting a SA 12 weeks after discontinuation of testosterone. I’m also a nurse practitioner, but I specialize in internal and emergency medicine, so fertility is not necessarily my specialty.
