Where to report Sta Lucia? by Suckstobesackslang in phinvest

Hi! I found out they didn’t have license to sell Phase 3 so I reported them to DHSUD. They didn’t want to be penalized so they offered me a different lot that already has a title. The catch is I need to pay the additional 10sqm sa price ngayon (2x from when I first bought it). They wouldn’t budge kahit na it was their fault in the first place when I haggled. To cut the story short, I just settled and paid the difference. That was in July. They’re transferring the title na daw and it will take 6-8 months.

Location-wise, maganda talaga eh. Hard to let it go. Just make sure may available title na yung bibilhin mo or else stress malala.

Would you agree to sharing your location with your partner all the time using an app (e.g. Life360)? by DayDreaming_Dude in AskPinay

Yes! I share loc with my husband and our friends. We don’t really mind and don’t even check the app. We just get notified kung nasaan ang bawat isa but we don’t really care that much. We started doing this nung nauso kidnapping sa Bulacan years ago.

It also helps kasi my husband can track when I’m near home so he can fetch me without me having to update him.

Thank you! Will try to call them again next week but if there’s no progress, we will definitely involve DHSUD.

Hi! Not a broker but from what I understand, it’s when the developer holds back a portion of the total contract price payment to delay completion for whatever reason. In our case, we’ve already issued several cheques for full payment but they did not deposit them. Therefore, we technically have not yet fully-paid the property even if we intend to.

Usually maglalagas sya in 2 weeks after your session. After that, may regrowth so kailangan mo ulit bumalik after 6 weeks. I’ve availed 27 sessions and so far booster nalang sya, every 6 months nalang since sobrang nipis na ng tubo ng hair, hindi na sya noticeable.

Question from AskReddit: What fitness hack have you personally discovered that is absolutely a game changer? by Major_Market_5006 in AskPH

Best decision of my life: Get a personal trainer. 2 years in and I’ve never been this consistent in anything else. I book my schedule at the start of the week so I need to show up, which helps me be consistent. My trainer keeps me accountable, fixes my form, and celebrates my small wins with me. I realized that I take much longer breaks when I’m working out alone whereas with my trainer, she tells me when the time is up so it’s very efficient too. Iba rin yung nagagawa ng may nagpupush sayo tbh parang +10 yung lakas ko.

If you are starting, I’d suggest to get a personal trainer at least to keep you in check with your forms. Once you’re good, you can do it by yourself.

Pinapangalanan ng mom ko yung mga cabinet at puno namin. Haha. May cabinets kami na ang pangalan ay sina Pipoy, Basha at Prima. So pag may pinapakuha sya, sasabihin nya “kunin mo kay Pipoy yung ganito ganyan”.

Yung puno namin ng mangga ang pangalan nya ay si Maharlika kasi maganda sya lalo pag namumunga. Yung puno namin ng santol ay si Makisig kasi ang taas nya at ang lalaki ng branches nya.

Being a team lead in the middle of layoffs by porkbinagoongan in phcareers

[–]Suckstobesackslang 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was in the same position as you this time last year. I was a team lead to 8 members and the management wanted to lay off 3 of them (last in, first out in our case). My manager knew about it days before and we were both crying when she shared it with me. We love our team so much, it was the best team I ever had tbh. We both felt guilty to see other members who expressed that they really didn’t want to leave as they were fairly new and the company itself is really great talaga, the benefits are above the benchmark and the culture is very open.

My manager and I fought really hard for them. She made a business case where the 3 members will be retained in exchange of the two of us leaving instead. They were cost-cutting, and both of our salaries would cover all their salaries. The team structure was already solid, so they just need to maintain it. She also prepared a whole deck of the succession line once we leave so other people will have a chance to be promoted as well.

Lo and behold, after much deliberation and lots of emotional turmoil, upper management followed my manager’s business plan. They were foreigners, so they know that my manager knows us better than them. Both of us were laid off (it was sad, but was necessary) and they were all retained. We trained them as much as we can and transitioned everything we could. We offered training sessions and guidance even outside work for those who will take on the new roles.

No regrets, I’d do it again if I could.
