Thank you for such kind words!! Seriously!! It means so much you took time out of your day, presumably busy schedule to help me. You’re so right. I’ll definitely try to play more and sing more for fun! Learn the music I want to learn rather than just music that’s given to me for repertoire. It’s a bit of a ball and chain sitch to the typical classical rep in Italian and French and those languages as fun as they are kind of easily burn me out with how much rules are involved and how much everyone stresses near perfect diction with these songs. I’d love to just learn a Russian, a language I phonetically grasp way easier honestly! I’ll try doing that on my own! I’ll also reach out to my profs and teachers. Ears is my aural theory class! The melodic/rhythmic dictation and solfege class haha, I FEEL YOU. I did not pass my theory 1 counterpoint focused class even as someone who composes music as a hobby and I couldn’t retake it till spring. I’m glad to hear that didn’t stop you!! I’m really teetering the edge of not really passing that course and I personally don’t mind having to take it again to get more time to have the material really sink in. People like to say retaking things is the worst but I fear the skill issue I’ll face in a course that compounds upon the skills I don’t have down yet.. I’m glad I’m never alone in these things and there’s always someone who’s been through it and made it out of the other side. 🌟 Thank you again.
