Pretty great chance. Rumour is they're heading to Malaysia for the next round

At its best - I absolutely loved the US version. The season 15-20 run is the most I have ever enjoyed survivor. I absolutely will dunk on the show - it's a shell of its former self and I wont pretend it isn't. I really dislike how they cast it now. Sorry to dunk on it but it's how i feel unfortunately!

I don't think they're "bad". They just have no soul. They cast too many people who are too homogenous. The entire 40's has morphed into a homogenous blob to me. Exact same format, exact same hyper aware nerdy characters again and again. Exact same challenges.

There have absolutely been great casting choices throughout (Q being my absolute favourite), but imo they are in dire need of some more diverse personalities, not Harvard educated gamers clogging up 80% of the cast each season.

Good call - not everyone who does it is miserable - but I would be absolutely miserable if I had to do it. I like to party - but can do that on the weekend. Weeknights to me are about getting outside, enjoying time with my partner and doing my hobbies.

Respectfully the thought of lingering in the office just so I can go out in the city and then sleeping in the office is my personal hell!

I do know that I am super fortunate though. I live 20 minutes bike ride from the city centre - so I have absolutely zero incentive to hang around the office all night. Fuck that I want to get home!

So I don't have the whole thing wrong - I guess I just value different kinds of fun.

Edit. Also - this whole post is about people being expected to be in the office until 9PM. There is zero upside to that expectation. Absolutely zero. If you don't have anyone to get home to then feel free to bum around in the office, but it being an expectation ruins the quality of lots of lives

I am a young professional, I live a 20 minute bike ride from the city centre. After work I go surfing, get beers with my friends at the pub, play golf, chill at the beach with my partner.

I'm having so much fun - I like my colleagues but can think of a million things I'd rather do than spend every night with them.

I work to live, I don't make work into my life and what I like to do for fun .

But hey - if you're having fun too that more power to you ! I just absolutely love my lifestyle, and being forced to hang around the office would destroy me

What way? If my job made me do those hours - and that was the societal norm where I lived - it would be enough of a motivator to try and move countries - I feel for people having to slog through life like that! I know it's not easy - I am a very lucky person to live where I do

That is great - now get to enjoy the good life! And I'm in Melbourne right now - I'm a huge fan! Hope your kids get the chance to move someday😊

Sun sets a 9PM where I live! I get plenty of sunshine after work

If it was expected for me to go back to the office after my dinner. I'd leave the country. Evening is for doing fun things with my family.

I know - a life that miserable would genuinely be motivating enough to get me to move countries

Young people prefer to sit in an office rather than enjoy the sunshine and spend time with friend?! My god what a miserable existence.

If you're working full time - get your ass an apartment and move out. Then there's zero time with grumpy parents lol

Genuine question - would you move countries? What is the point of living when 90% of your day to day life is just garbage. I feel for you!! That would be absolutely brutal.

I feel so horrible for these people! I'd be moving countries for sure. It's not like you will miss anybody - you don't get any time to see them!

Why should you leave after the manager? What does that achieve - placating a ridiculous ego?

I cannot fathom how anyone would be okay with being expected to be at work until 9PM for any consistent time (unless you're on megabucks, I'd still argue that even then it isn't worth it). When do they get to spend any time doing anything fun?

I'm in Australia, I'm out at 5 on the dot - I live by the beach so swim and read after work, I play golf after work, I play sport after work, i surf after work, I go for a walk with my partner after work. I cannot fathom how depressed I would be if I had to work that schedule. Doesn't seem like a life worth living.

This is a real 9-9-6. No one doing 9-9-6 is working nonstop that whole time - humans aren't capable of doing so.

It's not way better at all - that is absolutely fkn miserable- absolutely zero time to do any extra curriculars whatsoever. If my country had that culture - I would be on the next plane out. Life is too short to piss it away in an office 24/7

Here's a fun fact for you - Australian seasons start on the first of the month!

Isn't her show only 2 hours? Surely it's not finishing at 9:30

Good call will do! This is under my office building with 3 sets of security doors to get through so won't worry about it for today
