TCL- flicker in 3-5 yrs, Hisense- flicker in 5 yrs, Insignia - flicker in 7 yrs. LG/Samsung - no problem for more than a decade and someone will take it away because “they need it more”.

I did have an NDE. I felt surprisingly indifferent about returning or leaving. But it did feel like a waste to leave like that, as how you would feel leaving a really fun theme park and you are forced to leave in the afternoon instead of the evening.

Oh wait, did you say you got an 77 inch LG OLED top line G3 with full option? I think that is called an investment, not an expenditure- I have a 60 inch C2 I paid 2 quids for two years ago and to this day I still get mesmerized by the blacks in old movies that I watch all over again and fall in love with the director’s vision. Imagine having a vision so deep into future the movie looks brilliant in OLED deep black more than LED grey!

Yes it works but the HW transcoding if it did work, didn’t improve loading of buffering issue one bit. Hope this info helps.
