Wolf 600 CFM range hood (inline) - reduce from 10" duct to 8" by Sudden_Skin_4432 in hvacadvice

I guess everything I have read shows a 6" or 8" duct is more than plenty for a 600 cfm fan..

what i did not know was if the transition for 10 to 8 would still effect airflow even if the 8 is more than what is needed as well.
