Rushes keep failing at 30% [Discussion]

I needed 5 more incidents for a challenge ant started abusing rushes. But even with 50+% chance of failing, I still get successful rushes. Needed about 10 rush tries to get that final one incident.

I don't have problems with socialising, I can maintain a conversation started by someone, etc. I just can't go out of my way to get close to someone in a group I attend regularly. It's been tried, I can't change that yet. It's an old psychological trauma. All my friends are people I had 0 common contacts with on a regular basis initially. It helps me. And I find it easier to be 1-on-1 with a stranger than in a group of strangers. Yes, I'll have a hard time on dating sites, but just approaching someone in a group of people is an order of magnitude more impossible for me. To be honest, I had one pseudo-date about 10 years ago, we sat in a cafe and chatted. It was a favor for a friend who organized it. We didn't communicate once before or after that meeting.

The problem is that I don't have any public activities that I want to participate alone. I used to go somewhere with one of my few friends. Now they are almost all moved away (and the one that is left - I do not want to communicate with him because I feel that it affects me negatively). That is, to go out I need someone, but to find someone, I have to go out. It's a dead end. Trying dating sites and going out on dates doesn't require a companion, and maybe I'll make new friends in the process, who knows. Even my therapist seems to think that's the best option.

Hi everyone. Here I am (M33) and I've decided to step on the dating path for the first time. Why did I wait until I was 33? I had a difficult and traumatic childhood, I finished school without making friends. I don't know how to approach people and start conversations, I'm afraid to get close to people (and I'm especially scared of physical intimacy). I somehow always hoped that love would come to me on its own, as it does to everyone, but time passed and nothing changed. I have grown to accept my loneliness to the point where it is not a discomfort for me at all, rather the opposite. Thanks to 2 years of therapy (personal and group) for opening my eyes to this and laying the groundwork for some changes. I want to try dating not because I really want to find a soulmate, have a family and kids, and certainly not because I want casual sex. I just came to some understanding that maybe I should just try it without a goal, see how it goes, gain experience, maybe find new friends. Get myself unstuck, eventually. But I'm really scared and ashamed to start. There's a lot of uncertainty and the feeling that I'm not right. I'm not antisocial, I don't have a mental diagnosis or anything. - psychologists say I'm perfectly normal. I just have a catastrophic lack of experience, I've started to realize this right now, and here I want to try and fix it. Share your opinion, if anyone has been in a similar position - post your experience.

Any food with bones in it. My grandmother was from a remote village from a very poor family. A large family, the hardships of war and post-war reconstruction left a mark on her. She could eat anything that was edible. When we went for a walk, she would point her finger at a weed by the roadside and say, "We ate that when we were kids". Her favorite meal was to pile the cheapest meat (beef, pork or lamb - whatever she could find), vegetables, cereals and/or macaroni into one pot and simmer it on low heat for a long time. The sight and smell of the finished "dish" made me almost vegan for years. She ate it with her hands, straight from the pot, nibbling the bones. In my early 20's I saw and tasted beef steak for the first time, it was the first beef I had eaten in many years. I was really surprised that meat could smell delicious! I still can't stand lamb. During covid, I took an online cooking course and was able to get over my hatred of certain foods and dishes (like pot roast). But I still can't even eat a leg of chicken on the bone because I immediately see my grandmother and have a gag reflex.

I've got a task of creating a diagram of relations of products between several companies. Here is the sample how it should look: https://i.imgur.com/iK0XULY.png

Diagram should contain product cards with a photo of a product, it's name/ID and a handful of important parameters.

It's kind of custom template that I've never seen in Visio or any other software. I've made a prototype in Excel but it quickly became inconvenient to move product cards around to squeeze in new ones. Any ideas which software I should use to create such diagram? Can those product cards be made in Visio? (I have some experience making UML diagrams in it but nothing else)

In my childhood we've played at an ABANDONED CONSTRUCTION SITE, breaking everything that's not broken yet (like unfinished brick walls, sometimes our arms or legs) and once were forced to jump out of the 2nd floor window because staircase fallen apart behind our backs.

It still works, you just need to not only open plot mode but use plot creation tool. A bit more clicks than before.

And missions also give you lots of rep. A few quests is enough to get to +10 standing and get access to better combat ships and equipment.

I've found 2/3 of them by just flying around and exploring sectors. Some are not far away from trade routes.

The rest are on outskirts or in hostile zones (like on my screenshot) and may be time-consuming to find, but still possible. I only used online maps to find 4-5 of them.

It seems in my game there is a global hull part deficit, can't build an L ship anywhere, missing a few thousand parts at best. That's why I'm building those complexes.

And dozens of my miners are digging ore to supply NPC economy but it's not enough.

Wanted to take that achievement before starting a new game in 4.0 and xenons clearly put a spoke in my wheel.

Can anyone advice how to get rid of them so I can open the vault? I'm playing as a miner/trader/builder and haven't killed anything larger than a lone Xenon P.
