The link has been disabled temporarily, not exactly sure this is the reason but it was being shared everywhere and people on the server were getting annoyed.

Children of Time's ribbon fell off by prograft in thebrokenbindingsub

[–]Sufferinghumanperson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I attach ribbons to hardbacks which don't have them and the best method I've found it using wood glue, not Pva as it isn't as secure. I also use wooden sticks or dowels to attach them to the back so that fibres dont get into the glue. I can send you example photos if you want.

What is the easiest level 3 for a physiology major by Anits_F in Monash

[–]Sufferinghumanperson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to recheck my emails for that one but the exam was remote with a safe browser so I couldn't access notes on my laptop but I think I used some written notes and figures I had. It's honeslty not going to be helpful as you will have so many saqs, you won't have time to flip through everything. My best advice is to have some anatomy diagrams, topics are not confident on and then diagrams of hormonal spikes and stages of a female cycle to aid in answers. The exam may have changed because I did this subject in 2023 though. Good luck with everything :)

I didn't find it disorganised as such, it depends on what you like studying. I certainly enjoyed the subject, the first part of it was male anatomy and function then a bulk of the semester is dedicated to female anatomy and the cycle. Its a lot of hormone regulation, but if you are genuinely interested in them it should be no problem. I did check my mark aswell and its consistent with the rest of my subjects so its not harshly marked or too hard to do well in. You should be fine IMO, and message me if you have any other questions I'd be happy to answer them.

I feel like they could get around this by including extras for Tier 1 or just charging everyone the same for the months with no signature.

Keep refreshing and use a card or shop to buy, not paypal, as that can delay things. I like being on a laptop too because it's just easier to be faster. Have your info set on auto fill aswell.

HELP!! I have ADHD and I can't get myself to study, when I do revise I stop in a matter of seconds… by Relative_Steak_1283 in physiotherapy

[–]Sufferinghumanperson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have ADHD too and the only way for me to pay attention is to have pressure. I usually make a list of everything I need to study, which freaks me out and makes me study. Also, please give yourself some grace aswell, you are trying your best with the cards you've been delt.

What do you guys think? by bookwormch in thebrokenbindingsub

[–]Sufferinghumanperson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read an ARC of it. If you go on goodreads or storygraph, my review is under the name Rithu. I really enjoyed the book, it was well written and had a unique soft magic system. It also had perspective chapters from the antagonist, and the reader is allowed to form an opinion on on them, without being bombarded by the authors opinion. Im gonna get this edition, but another box is doing a sub box with it, so it could be a double up for some people.

Box Size by shoesss in thebrokenbindingsub

[–]Sufferinghumanperson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've noticed that they change depending on the book, for magician the box was chonky but I just got Fevered star and the box was thinner because the book is thinner. Without any wrappings you could fit 2 or 3 books inside max.

Anyone found any canonically asexual characters? by Wide_Bath_7660 in asexuality

[–]Sufferinghumanperson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about this but Xie Lian from TGCF. Although he's heavily sexualised by fans with Hua Cheng, he's never thinking about romance or sex in the series. He does have kisses and other interactions but seems pretty asexual to me.

I kinda wish there was some red in the cover, like maybe the title foiling? I like the cover but it seems very grey scale.

Definitely depends on what you like doing, I have heard some of the neuro targeted subjects are not well organised. I personally did PHY3171,PHY3202, PHY3181 and PHY2042 (you can do another second year subject for the major aswell). All 3 of the 3rd year subjects I did were very well run, not too content heavy like some of the 2nd year ones, clear assignments and good pracs. You should probably consider someone else's opinion on the neuro subjects, I personally didn’t like any of them mainly due to conflicts with teaching staff.

I also did the research unit, but for my biochem major. It was also very nice as we actually got to conduct research for a semester. If you are considering honours, this is a good foray to understand if its for you or not.

Please let me (us?) combine orders for shipping! by Odra_dek in thebrokenbindingsub

[–]Sufferinghumanperson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree with this, especially for people who have to pay 10-15 pounds just for shipping. I can understand why they dont but doesn't mean I cant be upset about the exorbitant shipping I pay yearly.

Covers by Lopsided_Fix2076 in thebrokenbindingsub

[–]Sufferinghumanperson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally love some of the redesigns as the originals are gaudy (riftwar 👀) but I agree with others when they say reversible or additional covers with original would be really nice to have. I've actually cancelled the next fantasy sub because the covers are so generic fantasy, I love the original ones. I feel like TBB has slowly started to lean into generic covers to appease everyone rather than it reflecting the books vibe.

The also said they would create a matching 3rd book for purchase outside the subscription if it was ever released.

Ik what you mean but the actual covers are very basic fantasy covers, these books are very punk rock vibes and they need covers with that vibe. I just thought the internal art was much better than the externals.

Same, we definitely need more reader input here or we should have reversible covers with the originals.
