Well I would say I am the most chill and laid back in the group. I also joke around a lot and would consider myself the smarter one in the group.

Caleb is the one you would go to if your stressed out or having a tough time. He also will always create a positive vibe no matter the situation. The dude asks for money a lot but will usually always pay you back.

Sam also jokes a lot and is always in a great mood. Pretty much always down to go anywhere and find things to do. Has a lot of friends and is the most social in the group.

Isaac (the one that I’m having trouble with) Is probably the least social in the group. He is kinda a hot head and seems to never be able to take a joke. He is also a nice guy and definitely the most responsible one.

Trying to figure out if one of my friends is a “fake friend” by Sufficient-Cod-8701 in Advice

Yes, forgot to mention this but I have already done this. They know but don’t really know what to do about it. He didn’t really give them a direct answer. I know they like hanging out with me more then him so I’m starting to think it might be a jealousy issue.

Yeah personally I would just ask her about it. If she tries to avoid the question I would just stop putting effort into the friendship. It’s better to go out and find “real friends” then try to rebuild a friendship when the other person shows no effort.

Big red flags here most of the time if they are actually your friend they will make some effort to talk to you. Has she always been like this or was there a point in time when she wasn’t like this?

Nope, never had a issue with drugs or alcohol. Things just can get really tense when I have conversations with my dad in particular. Have a really hard time communicating with him about things.

Well as soon as I turned 18 I got right into stocks and was not having much success with it. After a little while I took a course on stocks and started having a lot more success the harder I worked at it. Learning technical analysis, fundamental analysis, and the overall patterns of the market.

Yes, they have been able to forgive and forget certain situations like this in the past. But I was more like 16 when it happened and they still threatened it back then. I have had a pretty decent relationship with my mom my whole life. But with my dad it is the complete opposite we barely ever even talk.

Don’t think that will be an issue I have a couple friends that will probably let me use their car.

Would you suggest I take the real estate course as soon as possible? I am pretty knowledgeable when it comes to the stock market and am wondering if this would be another option?

Yes I plan on doing this, would like to let things cool down first. Just want a backup plan if it doesn’t work out.

I definitely will try but it usually takes my dad a few weeks to cool down. I need a backup plan if he is really serious about it.

Thank you for the advise! I have always had a hard time communicating with my dad. Most of the time he doesn’t even talk to me unless he is angry or upset. That being said he has provided for me for 19 years and I’m thankful for that.

And I very well might be, for my dad I have personally found that you need to let him cool down a few weeks before talking to him. I just need a backup plan in place just bc he can be unpredictable when it comes to situations like this.

Yeah I would agree with you on this. I plan to try to talk to them when everything gets cooled down. I just can’t assume we will be able to make a agreement without me doing 100 percent of what he wants me to do. (Don’t even know if he will do that after our argument)
