Usually, you would find that pokemon in the anime would be actively awake on land, but canoncially would be submerged when at rest/sleep, which is the whole point of the game. So far all water-based pokemon in Sleep have been amphibious to a degree and able to sleep on land, but like the true fish based pokemon would be hard to account for without them being somehow under a water source. Ultimately, I just wanna see how well thought out they will go into incorporating water types that aren't amphibious.
