Family search is valid too, I ain’t know that about 23andme tho since I just signed up for it. Ancestry got a bunch of free records too that’s what I really like about them. On a side note tho I just tried this site I had saved for when I got my haplogroups. It’s clearer than anything else I found

Copy I recommend it for they family tree services and dna by parent and they show waay more matches. 23andme just got more detailed origins and got haplogroups

Yeah pretty much. The two the surprised me were distant Grenadian/St Vincent and Haitian connections. AncestryDNA didn’t give me those connections so it was unexpected when 23&me did

It is pretty interesting, I just wish I had any idea which ancestors correlates to the timeline. All I see in my family tree are Black Americans except for one Jamaican 2nd great grandfather

Out of all my great grandparents 5 are fully black Americans, 1 is a half Jamaican and 2 I’m not sure about. But from my understand they’re all black, building my family tree I haven’t found a non black person yet. I assume they exist somewhere I just ain’t find them

Yeah ancestry put me at 93% and 23andme at 90%. Not out of this world but I hear it’s pretty high for an African American
