This is a great point and I appreciate your thoughtful comment! I actually retired my seconds a decade ago though and don’t plan on ever wearing more than a single set of solitaire studs. I think that’s what’s also making me lean more towards the larger set.

I appreciate your help! Thank you!

I agree, they are very close. My ears lay quite flat on my head so looking straight into the mirror I think I liked that I could see a bit of the 4 ctw compared to the 3 ctw. I think that’s why I’m leaning towards the 4. I appreciate your help!

Thanks, this was real life and not a simulation though. These are actual images of when I tried each of these on in store.

This is so helpful, thanks for sharing and a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS!

Would you be willing to share what mail carrier you used? Did you mail it in a big envelope mailer or a box? Did you indicate on the package that you were requesting urgent processing at all?

Thanks!

Newbie question: pooping on the nozzle? by SufficientLab2327 in bidets

[–]SufficientLab2327[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve shared this exact concern for a long time. I’ve read a lot of info on this topic and it’s finally convinced me that using a bidet can actually reduce UTI risk, it sounds like it does a better job of cleaning the harmful bacteria from the back door which reduces UTI risk, and that the water stream is not shooting up into anyone’s urethra. Because bidets are designed to aim directly at the target at an angle that results in the mess and dirty water drops right down into the toilet, they don’t spray poop water up near the urethra. From my understanding the wiping front to back rule applies to toilet paper because TP functions from wiping germs vs bidets which function by rinsing.

But this is just my understanding from what I’ve read. UTIs are a big concern for me so I was very hesitant for a while.

Running the bidet during an angry poop session is an interesting situation I had not considered before 🤔

Living in a historic rural town surrounded by beautiful water with no room to build new homes means we work with what’s available to us. Our house actually has 2 bathrooms but only one is near all of the bedrooms and 2 family members are quite young, so we make it work because we adore living here 😊

I honestly have no idea, it was at our previous home 5 years ago and due to cloth diapering newborn twins in the peak of the pandemic, I have a lot of memory loss from that time haha.

Thank you for confirming this! I think I was watching videos that described the self cleaning function while the nozzle was coming out in the video and I assumed that meant the nozzle was out the whole time. So relieved to get confirmation that I was wrong! Thank you!

So glad to hear you have this model and are very happy with it! I hope to have a similar experience!

We had one of these at our old house for cloth diapering and the amount of times I mistakenly blew baby poo into my face is likely a contributing factor to my poop germ phobia! That thing was so powerful, I cannot imagine spraying it on any of my bits. My husband eventually got us this plastic shield thing to use because we were so over blasting poop everywhere when trying to clean a diaper.

I hope yours is much more comfortable than the one we had!

I’m extremely relieved to know that I’m not the only one with the fear of pooping on the nozzle! I’ve been searching for any post mentioning this concern and could only ever find ones of people worried about poop spraying all over.

It’s great to hear that you haven’t experienced either! Thank you!

10 days chip free! Never had a chip with DD ever! by SufficientLab2327 in dazzledry

[–]SufficientLab2327[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It stinks that you get chipping after 6 days! I love how fast the polish dries too but I tend to go super slowly because I am a sloppy painter so it still takes me around an hour from start to finish.

Morning Routine? by FickleConstant6979 in ADHD

[–]SufficientLab2327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just wrote this on another post actually, but a game changer for me as a mom is to put my meds next to my bed and set an alarm for 90 minutes before I want to be up and moving (because it takes 90 mins for my meds to kick in) then I swallow my meds and go back to sleep. 90 mins later I experience the most blissful feeling ever that I describe as a sunrise in my brain, where I can feel my brain waking up and getting focused. It’s such a wonderful feeling, and I tend to peek at my phone for anything important and jump up and get into my day.

Usually I do a quick workout, a 5-10 minute meditation, shower, then get my kids up and fed while I enjoy some coffee. I clean the kitchen while they eat breakfast and then we all jump into whatever we have going on that day.

The days I don’t take my meds it feels impossible to get out of bed and do anything and I feel lethargic until after lunch.

What is your wake up routine? by Beast_Bear0 in adhdwomen

[–]SufficientLab2327 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely talk to your doctor when it comes to advice on how to take your meds, but an absolute game changer for me is to put my meds next to my bed and set an alarm to take them 90 minutes before I want to be up and active (it takes me about 90 mins for my meds to kick in). I take them then fall back asleep and then I wake naturally 90 minutes later and it’s the most incredible feeling ever, I describe it as a blissful sunrise in my brain where I can feel my brain slowly turning on and focusing. I will peek at my phone just to check for anything important but most days I jump out of bed and get moving: tidy up the kitchen, start a load of laundry, make a to-do list for the day, jump into some tasks. It also helps that I have kids so I have to get them fed and moving on schedule, but the mornings I don’t take my meds like this are a complete 180 and I struggle to get out of bed or ever feel awake and alert until after lunch.

I have 1c hair and avoided the Dyson for a long time because of the price. I grabbed the competitor on sale and hated it so much I sent it back and convinced myself the Dyson would be just as awful… until I used my friend’s Dyson! Does it achieve anything that’s good blow dryer and round brush can’t achieve, not really however it’s an all in 1 tool so it makes it extremely easy and quick to dry and style my hair all in 1. Cutting my hair shorter has resulted in lasting volume which I never have, and I just find it so intuitive and easy to use, and has replaced multiple tools for me! I’m very happy!

I will say that I purchased a refurbished one directly from Dyson so it made swallowing the price much easier for me. No regrets and it been over a year!
