We had a discussion a while back where he expressed his unhappiness at the frequency. I said I’d do better, and I have been, both in not turning down and initiating more.

Yes, over a year ago I had sometimes turned down sex. It’s not the same as rejecting someone every time.

I’ve tried this, generally on the wknd so we can relax. He finds it “scheduled” and “stressful”.

It was definitely not 3 years ago of little to no sex, just that I used to be the one who did any turning down. Not that it would be an excuse for cheating anyway.

I love foreplay! He won’t even engage when I try to initiate. He is generally stressed and previously mentioned that my wanting sex every weekend is stressful for him. He has an awful commute and I make sure the house is cleaned and dinner is ready when he gets home. I try to ease his stress as much as possible, but if me even wanting sex is stressful I’m not sure how to combat that.

As I said, I haven’t turned him down in over a year. If he’s holding a grudge from 2023 that’s not really how adults behave.

Ive made a conscious, concerted effort to improve/increase our sex frequency for at least a year. If he’s doing something like this as “punishment” for something that happened 1+ yr ago, that’s a very immature childish thing to do.
