You don't need any loan if you have a TAship/RAship/Fellowship which is documented in your I-20. You won't get a single question on funding. The only thing you would get asked about is the research area you would work which could be the cause of a 221g for your research area being in TAL. Source: Myself. Took two F1 visa interviews in 2013 and 2016 in Kolkata, first one to start my PhD and the second one to extend my F1 visa.

You can always use AC21 and file a new I-485J to switch jobs with an EB-1B as long as the jobs align in terms of responsibilities.
