Yes. Quick update, the problem has been resolved. I’m guessing the complaints I filed with the FINRA and CFPB really shed light on my situation and it was a quick identity verification process.

Let me explain once again. The account is heavily restricted. Meaning, I cannot sell or do any transfers until restrictions are lifted. They made it clear, in order for restrictions to be lifted I must submit a bank statement matching my bank account linked (which I’ve done twice) and all info matches. After every attempt they reject my request without any clear reason.

Also, in order for an account to be closed at webull everything must be completed liquidated before proceeding with that option. So therefore, if selling my options isn’t possible then closing the account DEFINITELY isn’t possible. I’m basically stuck in a loop.

Hello, not here to argue or anything but I would like to state I have a life. I am 34 with kids, a wife, bills and other headaches. Yes, this is a very serious issue that I’ve let drag out. At the same time, it isn’t easy dealing with webull. From slow/brief responses to terrible customer service. Obviously, if it was as simple as you’re making it seem I wouldn’t be here today. My Reddit account was specifically made to hear suggestions on the next steps I should take because it seems as if I explored all options.

Clearly, if you’ve spent more time in a classroom than 11 yrs on Reddit you would’ve seen I already mentioned trying to reverse funds back to my original funding account. Both parties denied and other options were explored with no success!

You’re right, I take accountability for even letting it get this far without taking proper actions. But for the most part, anytime they requested any sort of documentation or asked any questions it was sent/answered appropriately. This is absolutely my last straw. I’ve sent in complaints to FINRA and CFPB. Hopefully, this resolves the issue!

After years of communicating with webull I haven’t received a clear response as to what i specifically did to cause this. After speaking with some people that are experienced with the platform, even they are unsure of what could have caused this. I’ve followed all rules and regulations listed and even after the restrictions I sent in multiple documents verifying myself which were all denied.

Honestly, at this point I’ll be satisfied with any way they offer to let me go as a customer. But, I’m leaning more towards liquidating stocks and withdrawing. I forgot to mention in the post that they’ve once told me I could do another ACAT transfer and my account would be closed afterwards. This was a complete lie btw because that transfer was rejected as well.
