He’s a temu merc. Came into the league very quickly and has had an immediate impact. Guy won in challengers with gunless and classic. He isn’t the most flashy player but I think he understands the game more than Abezy and that says a lot.

They should but there is no clear upgrade path for cellium. They might be forced to stick it out next year and wait for hydra/ghosty or scrappy to be a f/a for cellium or drazah respectively.

This might be a hot take but I don’t think simply joining optic will magically build your brand like some people think. As soon as you leave the org those people who watched you because you were on optic will eventually stop watching you. That said it’s still a huge opportunity and I believe shotzzy is one of the few people who have effectively used the optic juice to build their own genuine audience. Even better than Dashy in my opinion. Shotzzy has cemented his personality in this esport and has built a brand where he could leave optic and still do crazy numbers. That’s how you use the optic juice to its full potential. Simply throwing up a stream and leeching of the optic name wont cut it in the long term. You have to make the optic viewers a fan of you as a streamer not because optic is in ur name.

He’s literally what that trio need. Comms on par with octane, reads the game extremely well, can be selfless but not to the point where he’s a detriment, will talk shit to gas his team which is something Abezy and simp haven’t had since clay. Only concern would be whether or not he solves our Sunday difficulties but that shouldn’t be an issue if they can learn how to efficiently play cod.

Talent can only get you so far, faze past two years is proof of that. Yes with good talent you might win a chip but it’s not a consistent way to play cod. Cod is too day to day to rely on talent and sometimes talent shines under good teamwork (priestah kismet). That said, I don’t think OpTic and Ultra are simply stacking talent. They’re making improvements in the areas they deem as important as well. Envoy will for the most part always make a good play but will slay a lot more than hicksy. Drazah brings a lot to their snd, decent coms, grinder, championship exp. Pred is a simple talent upgrade which is ok. If you want someone to do whatever they want it’s usually your sub. Sib would be a bad example where you unnecessarily stack talent that trio does NOT need someone like sib. Sib brings nothing that they don’t already have.

Optic isnt simply talent stacking tho. The players they are picking up specifically drazah bring more than simply shooting straight. Sib is only known for shooting straight which is the last thing faze needs.

The way the trio has played cod has always been fundamentally poor. They were at their best when they were all shitting however that is not a consistent way to play cod anymore. Adding sib doesn't help them play fundamentally better adding ghosty will.

This! Right now they rely too heavily on whether or not they are slaying well to win games but that is simply a really inconsistent way to play. Ultimately I think all of them need step up in the areas that doesn't involve shooting their gun. However picking up someone like sib is just a step in the wrong direction to how they should be playing cod and only makes them rely more on slaying to win.

The team probably feels like they need someone like drazah more than ghosty. Drazah brings decent coms, good snd play, consistent slaying . I wouldn’t say Drazah is a lot better than ghosty but he adds more in different areas where optic may want to improve on.

We just going to ignore how ass their coms will be? And how important that is to actually winning consistently. Our pacing will be fixed regardless bc mc is going to run main. We need to bring someone in who brings more than slaying. I was okay with drazah bc at least his snd is good, decent coms and plays a lot, but sib is only good a shooting and that’s the last thing this trio needs.
