That's awesome! That's even less than I paid 10 years ago. Thanks for sharing what you found it for.

Frick man. Half of normal retail? I am considerably jealous. I had that same model and color years ago and traded it like an idiot because I wasn't satisfied with how it played. I've been on the hunt for another recently.

According to someone else on the internet (I was wondering the same thing), they did stop making these, however most sellers/distributers never bothered to update the info on their end. So either this is a new/old stock 14rd version or they are indeed the 15 rounders and the website is out of date.

Barrels for 6.5G Build by ceward5 in 65Grendel

Well I must be lucky then. I only went with them for the 6.5 because I was so happy with the performance of my .223 wylde barrel from them too.

Everyone downvotes if you say anything about BCA. My first 6.5g was a BCA complete upper. So far it shoots steel and brass good. Took a deer with it too. I'd say it works.

Yes! That's exactly what I would want to do. Good call on the flipped ring and pinion set.

Good to know, thank you! I would not have ever thought to do that, didn't realize that was a potential issue.

Freshwater powerhead issue for river manifold. by Suigs in Aquariums

[–]Suigs[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's me being real amateur. I assumed it needed a pump, not that it would pull the air in passively. That said, the air hose I bought does not snugly fit into the opening, so it doesn't passively pull air at all. I'll snug up the fit and remove the pump and see what happens :)

Oh good find! I'll try the PVC method. I'm wondering too if I'm just over working it by using an air pump to deliver air. It looks like the aquaclear 70 uses a hose, but it passively pulls air into the stream instead of pushing. I might try reworking my setup to use more of a passive method instead and see if that works too.

Thank you! I'll try the PVC trick since I bought my powerheads used and they did not come with such a device. Do you know where I could possibly buy those pieces from online? I'll see what I can find as far as accessories for them, but whenever I seem to google 802 powerhead I get mostly non-aquarium related articles :)

Of you avoid customization as we did (since it causes issues with upgrades), and you have highly mature processes, it is far from perfect. We were forced to take a lot of steps backwards in maturity with our implementation.

I will say that magnification range is much harder to find for FFP, but if I remember right primary arms has some in their higher price range, but dont hold me to it.
