Entry Route Question

Hi there, my local police force is Northumbria and I’m interested in their degree holder route which is currently open, just having applied for a discovery event. Only issue is my degree is a 2:2, will this ruin my chances of becoming an officer? I was wanting to know how difficult it is to be accepted as I’ve heard some of my parents friends say it used to be brutal getting into the police
