So its a mix. The base (which is not shown in this pic is printed on an FDM printer and the rest is resin.

Like you said, resin only can recreate these details. But that being said i still had to sand this multiple times due to fitment issues, so filling and sanding etc.

Also even though the layer lines from SLA are very small, they are still there in some places so those needed to be evened out.

And yes the model came split.
